Calum
I woke up early morning to my phone ringing and ringing and ringing. Who the fuck calls this early in the morning? Ridiculous. I unwrapped my arm from Harmonies sleeping body and rolled over to face my ringing phone. It was noon turns out. Hazel?
I accepted the call, "Hello, Hazel?" I was beyond tired, and hoped Harmony didn't wake up either. "Uh did I wake you up?" Hazel knew she woke me up, but still asked. "Uh no-no what's up?" I lied. She's went through a lot recently, and I didn't want her to feel bad for waking me up.
"Uhm can you come over, I have something I kinda wanted to talk about." I hesitated to agree, but I already wasn't there for her before, and didn't want to make the same mistake again. "Yeah I'll be over in half an hour, okay?
I hung up the phone, and gently nudged Harmony. "Babe...." Harmony rolled over, awake. "Good morning..." Harmony seemed off and didn't respond right away. "Babe I have to go sort something out, I gotta go." Harmony nodded her head twice and got up out of bed. "Hazel right? Calum if there's something going on between you two, please just be honest..." Harmony sounded different, she was either annoyed, or upset.
"What are you talking about?..." I asked her while putting on a shirt. Harmony pulled the blanket up over the mattress nice and neat and laid her used pillow on top. "I know there's something going on between you two...why else would you two be so obsessed with each other?" She sat on the edge of the bed and got dressed.
"There's nothing going on between me and Hazel, we're just friends...with a past." I sat next to Harmony. Harmony looked up at me and you could tell she felt betrayed. "Calum, every time we're together, Hazel comes in between us..." She was right though. "How else do you explain that?... I just don't feel like you're happy with me Calum." She tied her sneakers, and stood up in front of me.
I held my hands on her waist, and sat her down on my lap. "I'm so grateful that you're a part of my life Hazel, but I-" Harmony jumped up from my lap. Tears were pouring down her cheeks. Anger and sadness, disbelief. Everything.
"Babe?" I hadn't realized what I done. "Go be with her Calum." I called Harmony, Hazel. Hazel. HAZEL. What the fuck did I do? "Babe I'm sorry. I didn't realize-" Harmony turned to face me with a red face and eyes.
"Calum I think we really need time away from each other..." Harmony grabbed her bag and left. I really fucked up.
