Luke

I told Hazel that I was in the area; and I figured I should check on her.  Hazel was a really good person, especially for Calum. I was just concerned because recently she's been acting different. Especially since I set her up to talk with Calum.

I will admit that was definitely wrong on my part, it was a one sided decision that I should not have gotten mixed up in. But I decided to, just so I could help them both.

Hazel texted me and said there was a spare key under the mat for when I get there. It was a pretty nice neighborhood, so worrying about strange people getting spare keys that easy definitely wasn't a problem.

I stuck the key into the doorknob and let myself in. Hazel apparently had that same guy from before over...so I mean it's pretty obvious they're together.  I greeted them both, and then asked if we could talk outside.  This was a serious matter, and I seen how he looked last time we met each other. She followed me out into the driveway.

"Hazel." I looked into her eyes.   I've noticed it's easier to find out the truth when you do that, I guess it's harder for people to lie? "What's going on?"  I put my hands in my pockets. "What do you mean?"  Hazel was playing dumb. She didn't want to say anything at all, but I want to know why though. She should know she can talk to me about anything.

"You know exactly what I mean. Seriously what's going on with you and who's that guy?"  At this point I was even more concerned because she was hiding it. She should know she doesn't have to hide stuff, at least with me. I thought I was a pretty open person. "Everything is going fine. And what does it matter?"
