Elthon

"Baby are you ready? We're going to see your ninang" as I called my two years old baby boy. Si El or Elthon JR.

"Ninang" he smiled while jumping on my lap.

"Yes baby. Makikita mo ulit si ninang" Si Elizabeth. My wife.

We've met six years ago. Siya ang naging pangalawang private nurse ni mom noong nasa hospital pa siya. She had a hard time on overcoming Lala's death. But thanks to my wife...hindi niya sinukuan ang mom. I courted her and marry her after my mom was totally okay. Three years of being married...I'm completely happy.

But there was never a time na nakalimutan ko si Seph. Minahal ko siya and I still love her. Pero hindi na katulad noon...I love her now as a friend. Maybe I just love her because I saw something on her. Yung mga wala kay Viveth. Yung pagiging sweet and caring. Her positive attitude, and for being a strong woman. I adore and found myself loving her. Then that thing happened----I was hurt. Because I love my sister much. And that leads me not to listen to her side. I was blinded by my anger. And I regret it. I regret too much when I've found out the truth. I've lost a friend and a woman I learn to love. But I understand that things happened for a reason. Maybe we've met but not meant for each other.

And I'd thank her for everything. And say how sorry I was and my mom. We visite her twice-----she's still studying that time. I also bring Elizabeth with us---I wanted them to meet and hopefully be friends.

I was thankful when she told me that she understand everything. About how we acted towards her as the case goes by. She was one of a kind woman. And I will continue loving her on my own way.

My wife and I don't have a problem about Seph, I told her everything and she accepted it. She always told me to leave everything happened in the past. And don't talk about it anymore.

And I guess she's right about that.

They've become friends all along.

We're living the present and will continue living being happy and contented. Having them as my family and Seph as a good friend.

"Hey kiddo" I welcomed him with open arms.

"Uncle Zack----I----I have something for you" a two year old boy who's still struggling to speak fluently.

"And what's is it? I'm excited" I look back and saw Elthon and his wife taking the luggage.

"Secret" he laughed.

I stroke his hair kung naging fair lang sana ako...may anak na din siguro ako.

"Hey Zack" Si Elthon.

We do fist bump "How's flight?"

"Exciting. It's been eight years. I missed everything"

"Hey Zack" Si Elizabeth.

"And how's my beautiful sister" I placed a kiss on her forehead Elizabeth is my older sister who chose to live with my parents in states.

"Beautiful as always" she smiled sweetly.

Elthon and I meant to be as brother in law.

Not because of Lala...but because of my sister.

"Let's go" I say as I placed El on his father's arms.

I visited them once every other month. I was surprised when Elizabeth introduce Elthon to me as her boyfriend. Such a small world. I was there when they got married----that was when tita Divine is totally okay. Pam was there with Aleck. And the woman I love until now. She didn't know that I was there----coz I hide myself. I don't want her to see me that time comes were both not ready. I am giving her time----time to let her fulfill her dreams.
