--twenty two--

Joey's POV:

I walk into blue base so I can go ask Matt a question but when I go upstairs, I see (Y/N) sitting on top of Matt who is pinned on the floor.

"Matt give me my phone"

"No, you don't deserve it! Besides you're the one who left it here in the first place!"

"What do you mean I don't deserve it! It's mine!"

"No!"

I clear my throat and they both look over at me.

"Hey guys, what's going on?"

"Matt took my phone and won't give it back!"

"Why won't you give it back to her?"

"She left it here so why should I give it back?"

"Because it's her phone...?"

"But she left it here!"

"Matt where's the phone?"

I give him a look and he points to a shelf that even I know he needed a chair for. I grab the phone and unlock it since I know (Y/N)'s password.

"Oh you got a text from babe! I got your stuff, waiting in the truck."

"Joey stop!" she yells, jumping off of Matt.

I run down the step and out of blue base, (Y/N) trailing close behind.

"Joey!"

I run across the parking lot and into the Edge space since I know she doesn't have a key for it. She runs into the door and I laugh at her. I hold up the phone and tease her with it.

"Joey give me my phone!" I hear through the glass.

"Give me twenty dollars!" I yell loud enough so she'll hear.

She takes out twenty dollars and holds it up. I step outside and hold up the phone.

"Give me my phone and you can heave your twenty dollars."

I glance over at her truck where Paul is standing outside, vlogging us.

"Fine" I answer lowering the phone.

She grabs it and runs without giving me the twenty dollars.

"Hey!"

I chase her to the truck and she almost makes it but then she trips. I grab for her and catch her before she hits the ground. I reach into her pocket and grab the twenty dollars she was supposed to give me.

"Thank you!" I said walking away.

(Y/N)'s POV:

"What was that about?" Paul asks as we climb into my truck.

"Matt wouldn't give me my phone so then Joey took it and ran and that's what you were vlogging."

"You saw?"

"I watched you start filming!"

"Oh"

We both laugh as I turn on the truck and drive us to the store.

"I'll be right back" Paul says going inside.

I go on my phone and call Tanner. He answers on the second ring.

"Hey (Y/N)!"

"Hey T, we're at the store right now and we'll be there in maybe ten to fifteen minutes"

"Ugh thank you guys so much! Gunner wouldn't because he was hanging out with Woods tonight."

"Ew Woods" I say joking which makes Tanner laugh a little. "See you soon"

"Bye!"

I hang up and scroll through twitter until Paul comes back out.

"Ready?"

"Yup!"

We drive to Tanner's and give him the soup then we go back to my place. Paul goes home and I'm left by myself. I invite over Connor to play Fortnite and he texts back immediately saying he'll be over in ten. I order a pizza, set up the game and set out some chips and by time I'm done Connor is at my door.

"You really weren't kidding when you said ten minutes" I say as I open the door and let him in.

"It's only been eight"

"Okay then, everything is set up in my room. We have snacks here and a pizza on the way."

"Lit!"

We go to my room and while I load us into the game Connor takes out his phone and snaps a picture for his instagram story.

"I'm gonna caption it Fortnite all night with my fav and tag you."

"Do it, I'll do it too!"

I take the picture and post it with the same caption Connor used and right as we're about to start playing, the doorbell rings.

"Be right back!" I tell him getting up and going to get it.

I pay and bring the pizza back to my room. When I walk in Connor is holding my camera pointed at me.

"Here we have (Y/N), she bought me pizza and she's about to get us a win in Fortnite because she doesn't suck like us guys on GG."

"Connor stop filming please" I say in a joking manner putting down the pizza.

"Would you film a Fortnite GG episode with us?"

"Who am I replacing?"

"Your brother"

"Oh that's okay, he's not good anyways."

We both laugh and then he stops filming. We start playing and we're up all night.
