A/N I will get to peoples requests but I have one more to post after this before I get to them
Jason loved his imaginary friend. he'd been friends with them since he was three. They played together, wrote together, sang together, danced together. but Jason's imaginary friend wasn't like that of a normal child. Normal children had an imaginary friend around their age, but not Jason.
Jason's imaginary friend was called whizzer. A man in his late thirties. who had an amazing sense of style (Whizzer's words) who liked to dance and sing showtunes. And unlike any other child's imaginary friend, Whizzer was a very sexually active gay man (Also, Whizzer's words)
When Jason was eight, he was watching the stars with Whizzer. A star shot through the sky.
"Jason, quickly make a wish." Whizzer said.
"I wish for you to be real someday." Jason beamed.
"I'd love that. But we both know that's not possible."
When Jason was nine, he stopped seeing Whizzer. One night he went up to his mother and sighed.
"Mom, Whizzer's gone"
"Well, that's probably because your growing up." Trina answered.
Jason pouted and ran back to his room.
When Jason was nine and a half, he heard his parents arguing. he heard the arguing over what his father had done. With another man. he snuck downstairs and hid where his parents wouldn't see him.
"What's his name Marvin?! who are you cheating on me with?!" Trina cried.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Marvin laughed "His name, coincidentally, is Whizzer."
"Like Jason's old imaginary friend?" Trina asked and Marvin nodded his head
"I knew my wished worked." Jason shouted as he came into view "I wished for him to be real and not long after I stopped seeing him. that means it worked."
"Jason, I'm not sure it's the same." Marvin admitted as he sat on floor in front of his son.
"I want to meet him."
"Jason, I don't think that's a good idea." Trina confessed.
"Well I think it's a great idea." Jason smiled.
"So do I." Marvin smirked.
~~ Time Skip because I said so~~
Jason could hardly hold in his excitement. He was about to find out if this was the same Whizzer or not. He waited in his bedroom until his parents called him down for dinner.
He heard the front door open. He heard three voices in the house. Jason began to bounce up and down on his bed. There was a knock on his door. He ran over to open it. There in front of him stood his father.
"Your mother thought it would be better if you two met up here and out of the way so she could cook in peace." Marvin smiled. Jason nodded and opened his door wider.
"Marvin, I think I'm lost." A voice shouted.
Jason and Marvin laughed.
"Did you take a left at the top of the stairs or right?" Marvin laughed.
"Left."
"I said right."
"Well you were facing me so I thought you meant your right, which is my left." The voice got closer.
The other man soon appeared at the door. Jason looked at him in amazement. He looked exactly like Whizzer. Jason waved and Whizzer waved back.
"Marvin! Help! " Trina shouted "The countertop is on fire!" Marvin chuckled and ran down to help leaving Jason and Whizzer alone.
"Are you..."
"Am I what?" Whizzer smiled.
"I don't want to say it. It sounds stupid if I'm wrong" Jason blushed.
"I'm Whizzer Brown. I didn't exist until a few years ago when a young boy wished on a star."
"I bet my dad told you. tell me something only you would know!" Jason smirked.
"When your parents where out and the babysitter was asleep, we recreated A Chorus Line."
Jason stood gobsmacked he ran at Whizzer and tackled him to the ground in a huge hug. he had his friend back and hopefully this time, he wasn't leaving
