A/N did you really think that I wouldn't write a Valentines Day chapter for my boys 😂

Marvin hated Valentines Day. When he was younger, he would count down the days. But now he counted the hours until it was over. For the past few years, Marvin had got into a routine for Valentines Day.

1. Make Trina breakfast.
2. Giver her some flowers from the florist and chocolates from target.
3. Do nothing for the rest of the day.
4. Take her out for dinner at 6.
5. Come home and sleep.

But that all changed when he fell in love again. And he fell hard.

Whizzer had always loved Valentines Day. The bought of having a full day to show how much you loved your lover brought him joy. He had a reason to spoil Marvin and Marvin had a reason to fall back in love with the holiday.

The pair would fight for the kitchen in the morning and compete for who had the best breakfast. They would exchange gifts and then spend the rest of the day watching movies and cuddling on the couch. By 7 they would go out to a fancy restaurant and splash more cash on each other. Then they would come home and stay awake watching the stars until they could no longer keep their eyes open.

But things all changed when they split. Marvin went back to hating the holiday and Whizzer went back to spending the money he would buy presents with at the bar.

Thankfully for the couple, when the reconciled and got back together. The holiday became that of love again. But Marvin was scared. He saw a pattern emerging when it came to Valentines Day. He would go through stages of loving and hating it. If he loved it now, when would he hate it again?

That would be when Whizzer passed. Marvin couldn't celebrate the holiday the same again. The date gave him the chills. The cards in the stores made him cry. That stupid smiling bear that Whizzer had brought him one year began to mock him. But this year, Marvin wanted to change his hatred or something else.

It was 2019. Marvin was 83. This was his 38th Valentines Day without Whizzer. But he was going to make it feel like he was there.

Marvin managed to make it to the florists that day. It had been the furthest he had walked in quite some time. He brought the most expensive bunch of roses he could.

"Who the special someone sir?" The worker asked.

"He's my boyfriend." Marvin smiled.

"Boyfriend huh." The worker smiled "With the size of that bunch he's a very lucky man"

Marvin laughed and thanked the young worker and left the small store. He slowly made his way to the graveyard. Marvin knew the way to Whizzer's grave off by heart so it didn't take him long.

He made it and sat on the bench that he placed their many years ago. Carefully he placed the roses on top of the grave.

"Thanks Marvin." He heard Whizzer say and he could of sworn he felt a head on his shoulder and arms round his middle. But he just brushed that of to old age.

As the day past on Marvin grew tired. Before he fell asleep on the bench, Marvin stood up and made his way back home. Smiling.

"You've done it again Whiz. You've made me love Valentines Day again." Marvin laughed as he got home.

He opened the door to his house and gasped at the sight. All of the gift Marvin and Whizzer had sent each other and placed them round the room. A note was placed in the table.

Hi dad. I know today is hard for you. But I just wanted you to remember how much you loved today. I know Whizzer is definitely spending the day with you. I hope you enjoy this surprise.

Love Jason.

Marvin sat on his couch. He felt himself drifting. The room began to get darker. He grabbed the small smiling bear that Whizzer had brought him. Before he fell into the darkness he heard a voice.

"Happy Valentines Day my love. It's nice to see you again. We're together at last"
