A/N it was less than a month from me hitting 4k that I hit 5k reads and I honestly couldn't be happier. Thank you guys so much I'm actually crying right now.

~~ Present Day because I want it to be~~

5am. That's when the a phone alarm went off. The last time Marvin was up this early was the day he was born. When he finally rolled over to look at his phone, he wasn't surprised to find out that it wasn't his. He looked next to him and laughed at the empty space in the bed. 

"Whizzer? Why?" Marvin asked.

"Because," Whizzer said as he popped his head round the en suite door "It is the most exciting day of the year."

"Of course, how could I forget." Marvin replied clueless to what today actually is. "What day is it again?"

"IT'S PRIDE PARADE DAY!" Cordelia shouted as she entered the room. 

"Why do we love them?" Charlotte groaned as she flopped next to Marvin on the bed.

"Because we do." Marvin smiled as he rubbed Charlotte's back. "Hut why are we up at 5am?"

"We need to stick to our schedule." Whizzer sighed as if it was something the latter should know.

"So we all have to be dress by 7am" Cordelia started.

"Out at a diner for breakfast 7:30am"

"Back here for 8:30am."

"Get ready for the parade by 10:30am."

"At the parade when it starts for 11am, 11:30 at the latest."

"And then we party!"

"Right, and when am I allowed to go back to sleep?" Charlotte groans.

"Well, if I'm being honest you two can sleep till about 6:30." Cordelia answered, but before she finished he sentence the two were already sleeping again.

The whole day flew by. It was an array of happiness and rainbows. Marvin couldn't contain his joy the whole day, it was his first time celebrating after all. Marvin was surprised when he saw people that had felt like he did. The group met new people, signed up to help with next years parade. All in all, the day went off without a hitch. Yes there were some protesters but Whizzer soon got them to leave.

Marvin checked the time, it was 12am. The group had just got to the third bar of the night. Marvin had been labelled designated driver so he was living off coke all night, although oit might have been pepsi. 

"Maaaaaaaaaarviiiiiiiin!" Whizzer shouts could only just be heard over the loud music.

"Yes?"

"The barman won't give me anymore drinks." Whizzer sighed as he flopped on top of Marvin's lap.

"Maybe he's right,. Let's go Charlotte and Cordelia left ages ago."

"but I don't wannaaaaa."

"Whizzer stop whining! We are going." Marvin snapped.

"But..."

"No buts."

"Yes but. My butt."

Marvin couldn't help but laugh at that. "Okay, come on."

"I love you Marvin. Happy Pride."

"Happy Pride Whiz. Maybe next year we can be apart of the parade."

So that's what they did, when the next June came around. Whizzer and Marvin made sure they were apart of the whole spectacle. As the years carried on they became more involved with the parade and eventually became head planners. Their plans would always stay a secret until the parade day. But Whizzer somehow always found a way to become included in the main float.
