Chapter 12: The Test

It was Miss. Larson's history test and Steve Harrington was going over his flashcards one more time before the bell rang. 

"The act of trading one thing for another thing is called Barter." said Steve while looking at the flashcard.

Dawn walked by Steve and accidentally bumps into him.

"Sorry Steve I didn't see you there." said Dawn while dusting herself off.

"That's ok I was too busy looking at my flashcards for the test." said Steve.

The two kids decided to do some last minute studying before it was time for class.

After studying for fifteen minutes, the bell rang and it was time for the test.

Dawn and Steve sat at their assigned seats and waited for Miss. Larson.

Moments later, Miss. Larson came in and told everyone that it was test day.

"Good Morning everyone. I hope you've studied the last week because it's test day." said Miss. Larson while handing out the test papers.

"When you've completed the test. You must be very quiet so you don't disturb anyone who's still working on their test." added Miss. Larson.

After hearing the announcement, all of the students began to write their names at the top of the test papers.

Steve looked at the multiple choice questions and started to think very carefully about the correct answers.

One by one he answered the questions.

When Steve answered the last question, he went up Miss. Larson's desk and placed the test on top.

"Thank you Steve, you can sit back down now." said Miss. Larson.

It wasn't long before Dawn finished her test.

"Listen up for a second everyone. I'll be grading your tests and you'll be getting them back a week from today." said Miss. Larson while collecting Dawn's test.

After a while, everyone finished their tests and sat at their desks and waited for the bell to ring.

Steve decided to ask Dawn after class if she wanted to come over to his house to hang out and run over their lines for the musical the next day.

The bell rang and the students got up and walked to their next class.

"Hey Dawn wait up." said Steve while speedwalking up to her

"What is it Steve." said Dawn.

"I was wondering if you would like to come over to my house tomorrow and run lines for the musical now that the test is over."

"Sure I'd love to. I'd have to ask my parents first but I'm sure it'll be fine." said Dawn.

"Ok and we have each other's phone number and you can text me after you've asked them."

After figuring out a plan for the next day, Dawn and Steve went their separate ways off to their next classes.
