Chapter 37: Care Bear Wedding Ceremony

Today was Harmony Bear and Tenderheart Bear's wedding day. Everyone was still asleep in the bride and groom suites. The wedding ceremony started at ten thirty and the wedding reception was in the afternoon and ended at sunset. Everyone could get away with sleeping in for a couple more minutes before it was time to wake up and deal with the hustle and bustle of getting everything ready for the wedding. 

In the grooms bedroom, Derek's cellphone alarm went off and he turned on his side to turn it off.

Everyone woke up and stretched. 

"Morning everyone." said Tenderheart as he got out of bed.

"Morning." said the groomsmen.

Just then there was a knock at the door. It was Nobleheart Horse dressed in a tuxedo and top hat.

"Here's your breakfast guys." said Nobleheart as he came in the room with a rolling cart.

On the cart there were pancakes, fried eggs, bacon, bowls of fruit, blueberry muffins, orange juice, waffles, oatmeal, toast and cereal.

Everyone each took a little bit of everything on the cart.

"It's delicious." said Derek as he took a bite out of his pancakes.

"Yeah very yummy." said John as he ate the bowl of cereal.

The girls started to wake up and got changed into their bathrobes.

Just then there was a knock at the door. It was True Heart Bear dressed in a sky blue dress and matching flats.

"Here's your breakfast girls." said True Heart as she came in the room with a rolling cart.

The cart had the exact breakfast items as the groomsmen.

The girls each took a little bit of everything from the cart.

"It's awesome."said Dawn as she took a sip of orange juice.

"Yeah very good." said Christy as she ate a spoonful of oatmeal.

After breakfast, Dawn took her rollers out from last night and started brushing her curls out.

She used hairspray on her hair to make her curls bouncy and she put a sparkly headband on her head for a finishing touch.

Christy took off the shower cap from last night and put a sparkly hair clip on the side of her head.

Dawn started to set up her makeup for Harmony Bear, the bridesmaids and Hugs Bear who's the flower girl.

She gave each of the bridesmaids sparkly gold eyeshadow and bubblegum pink lipstick, the flower girl hot pink lipstick and mascara.

It was the bride's turn for makeup. Dawn gaved Harmony Bear red lipstick, mascara and blush.

"Do you have your something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue?" asked True Heart Bear.

"I forgot to do that." said Harmony Bear.

"I have something old for you." said Friend Bear as she took out a necklace 

"It was my mom's necklace. She wanted me to have it for my wedding day but I don't mind if you use it as something old." said Friend Bear as she put it on around Harmony's neck.

"Thank you Friend Bear." said Harmony.

"Something new is my veil." said Harmony.

"You can borrow my pink bracelet." said Dawn as she put the bracelet on Harmony's wrist.

"Now all we need is something blue." said Cheer Bear.

Christy looked around the room and saw a blue sash and grabbed it off the shelf.
