It's been a week since Derek and John passed their drivers test, Derek drove the girls to the mall because today was the day that Christy and Dawn were going dress shopping for their Jr. Prom.
The girls decided that they'd wear their favorite colors to their jr. prom and their boyfriend's favorite colors to their senior prom. Jr. Prom was in two months and already Dawn was flipping through magazines to get an idea of what she wanted for a dress. They walked into a store called Dress to Impress and they were greeted by a woman in her mid twenties.
"Hey and welcome to Dress to Impress. How can I help you ladies today?" said the saleswoman.
"We're looking for dresses to wear to our jr. prom." said Christy.
"Well you two certainly have come to the right place." said the saleswoman.
She showed Dawn and Christy racks of beautiful gowns in their favorite colors.
Christy saw a long lilac colored dress with a sweetheart neckline on the hanger.
She grabbed the dress off the hanger and went into the dressing room to try it on.
Ten minutes later, Christy came out of the dressing room and looked at her reflection in the giant mirror. She couldn't believe her eyes the dress fitted her like a glove.
Dawn said "You look beautiful Christy. That shade looks good on you."
"I think I found my dress." said Christy as she stared at her reflection in the mirror.
Christy put her clothes back on in the dressing room and held on to her prom dress.
Dawn walked around the store and saw a long taffeta cherry blossom pink dress with one shoulder and a subtle high-low styled skirt on the mannequin.
She got the saleswoman who was helping her and Christy before and asked "May I try on the pink dress that's on the mannequin?"
The saleswoman carefully unzipped the dress and slid it off the mannequin.
Dawn went into the dressing room, took off her clothes and tried on the dress.
A few minutes later, Dawn came out of the dressing room and looked at herself in the mirror.
"You look great Dawn. That dress has you written all over it." said Christy.
"Yeah I love it." said Dawn.
Dawn decided that she's gonna buy the dress to wear for prom.
The girls payed for their dresses and went to the food court for lunch.
