It's been exactly two weeks since Derek ordered Christy's engagement ring online.
The mailman went up to the Hart's mailbox and slipped their mail and the package into it.
Mr. Hart went outside to grab the mail and went back inside to tell Derek the good news.
"Derek the ring is here." said Mr. Hart as he left the package on the coffee table.
Derek who was in the bedroom looking at his yearbook went into the living room to open the package.
He picked up the package and went into the kitchen to get a sharp knife so he could cut open the box.
When Derek opened it, he saw a small beautiful velvet black ring box and when Derek lifted the lid off the box, he saw the most beautiful white gold engagement ring with two purple diamonds on each side.
Derek went into the basement to show the twins, Christy's engagement ring and they were impressed with how shiny it looked.
"That's the most beautiful ring I've ever seen." said Dawn as she held the box.
"Christy is gonna be so surprised." said John.
"Yeah now I have to do is practice what I'm gonna say when I pop the question." said Derek.
"Don't worry Christy loves you very much." said Dawn.
"You're right I just have to be myself." said Derek.
The siblings went to show their mom the engagement ring.
"That ring is even more beautiful in person." said Mrs. Hart as she finished sweeping the kitchen floor.
"You have great taste in rings." added Mrs. Hart.
"I can't wait until next Sunday to pop the question to Christy." said Derek.
