Chapter 47: Swim Practice

It was the next day and Christy walked with her boyfriend Derek and the twins to school.

Christy walked in Miss. Rivera's office in the gym and gaved her the signed contract.

"Here's the contract all signed." said Christy as she left it on her desk.

"Thank you Christy I'll see you after school today for swim practice." said Miss. Rivera.

Christy left her office and went to find the Harts.

"There you are Christy." said Derek.

"I had to give Miss Rivera the contract." said Christy.

"Come on let's get to English class before we're late." said Derek.

The day went by very fast and it was time for Christy to go to swim practice.

Derek walked her there and said "I'll pick you up at three thirty when swim practice is over." 

"Ok baby." said Christy 

The couple kissed each other goodbye and Christy went in the girls locker room to change into her swimsuit.

"Afternoon girls today is the first official swim practice of the year." said Miss Rivera.

"We're gonna practice kicking today." said Miss Rivera as she took a sip of her water.

Christy started kicking her legs and moving her arms.

"Good job Christy." said Miss Rivera.

The time went by quickly and it was three thirty.

"I'll see you girls on Friday." said Miss Rivera as she looked on her clipboard.

Swim practice schedules are twice a week Wednesdays and Fridays.

Their first swim meet was the week before Thanksgiving vacation.

Christy got out of the locker room and waited for Derek to pick her up.

Five minutes later, Derek came and picked up Christy.

"How was swim practice today sweet pea?" asked Derek.

"It was good we got our first swim meet the week before Thanksgiving vacation." said Christy.

"I'll be there with bells on." said Derek as he held Christy's hand.

"Aww thanks honey bee." said Christy.
