The Hart kids and Christy were walking home from school. When they reached Christy's house, Christy felt a sharp pain in her side and she started to moan.

"What's wrong Christy?" asked Dawn.

"I don't know I probably ate something that didn't agree with my stomach." said Christy as she sat down on the couch.

"I'm gonna get you a glass of water." said Derek as he walked into Christy's kitchen.

The twins and Christy were watching T.V. until they heard Mr. Walker's car pull into the driveway.

"Hey kids how was school?" asked Mr. Walker as he shut the door behind him.

"It was good." said Christy.

Derek came back with the water.

"Here's your water sweetie." said Derek as he gaved it to Christy.

"Thanks Derek." said Christy as she stood up to take the glass of water.

Christy guzzled the water down in one sitting.

"Wow Christy you sure were thirsty." said Derek.

Christy's face started to look pale, she was sweating and her eyes were bloodshot red.

"Christy you don't look very good." said John.

"Ow my side!!!!!" said Christy.

Mr. Walker heard Christy and went into the living room.

"What's wrong pumpkin?" asked Mr. Walker.

"My side hurts." said Christy.

Mr. Walker tried to lead his daughter back to the couch but Christy fell down on the floor and was unconscious.

"I'll call 911." said Derek as he took out his cellphone.

"911 what's your emergency?" said the operator.

"My girlfriend is unconscious." said Derek.

"Did you know what happened just before she fell unconscious?" asked the operator.

"She was complaining about a pain in her side." said Derek.

"Ok what's your location?" asked the operator.

"We're at 48 Orchid Street." said Derek.

"We'll have a ambulance come over there as soon as possible." said the operator.

Derek held Christy's hand and started to stroke her hair.

"It's ok sweetheart the EMTs are gonna help you." said Mr. Walker.

Five minutes later, the ambulance drove up to the front of Christy's house and the EMTs started to ask Mr. Walker questions.

"You'll be ok darling." said Derek.

The EMTs carried Christy out of her house on a gurney and placed her in the back of the ambulance.

Mr. Walker and the Hart kids followed Christy in his car.

John called their parents to tell them that they're gonna visit Christy in the hospital and that they'll be there soon to meet them there.
