It's been exactly three days since Christy was in the hospital treated for appendicitis. The Hart kids bought Get Well Soon cards and a bouquet of flowers.
Mrs. Walker picked Christy up and drove her home.
"How do you feel Christy?" asked Mrs. Walker.
"A little bit sore but I'm ok." said Christy.
"If it wasn't for Derek calling 911 you wouldn't be here." said Mrs. Walker.
"Yeah he sounded very cool under pressure." said Christy.
Christy got home, sat on the couch and watched tv in her living room.
Just then the doorbell rang and Mrs. Walker answered it.
It was the Hart kids John and Dawn carried the cards and Derek carried a bouquet of colorful flowers.
"Christy the Hart kids are here." said Mrs Walker.
Just like that, Christy was instantly showered with cards and a big bouquet of flowers.
"We missed you." said John.
"I've missed you guys to." said Christy.
"The doctor said I need to rest for a few weeks and I'll be back to normal." said Christy.
"Thank you Derek for saving my life." said Christy as she kissed Derek's cheek.
"No problem honey." said Derek as he kissed her forehead.
