Y/n POV

"Hey Sasuke we'll be best friends forever right?" My 5 year only self asked the Black haired Uchiha

"Of course Y/n I'll always be your best friend I promise" He responded with a smile and pulled me into a hug.

That was years ago. Ever since the massacre of his clan he has become colder. I will say hi to him and he will just shrug it off and ignore me. He broke the promise I wanted to keep the most. I treasured it more than anything in this world, more than anything I have ever owned. My situation with my family wasn't the best....my father and mother would argue every day and my older brother would always yell at me. My uncle would constantly put me down saying that I was a failure, a mistake, and unworthy of the l/n name. It's been 4 years since the Uchiha massacre and Sasuke and I are now 11 years old. Naruto has been there for me but the longing for Sasuke that I have has not disappeared, it has only grown. One cold winter night I walked outside the Konoha gates, I walked out without looking back at what I was leaving behind. I had no reason to be here anymore, for no one needed me. Naruto has Sakura, Hinata, Shikamaru and the others, while my parents never needed me in the first place. Sasuke doesn't need me either, he made that clear 4 years ago. I looked back at the gates and sighed, walking away.

I believe in new opportunities. I believe that people could start a new life if they wanted to and the had the power to become a new person if they truly felt it. My grandmother always told me that I would be gifted with different opportunities in life and I would have to decide what path I want to take. Maybe this is what I needed to become different me. With that thought in mind, I continued to walk the path that leads me on my new journey. 

3 days later

Sasuke POV

Things here in Konoha have been fairly normal, well as normal as it's gonna get. It's kind of boring because nothing exciting is going on. I still need to get revenge and kill my brother but I don't know how I will with the village having such high security. I extol the actions of the hokage.  I walk down the Main Street of Konoha when I hear people talking. I stop to listen to what is going on.

"Did you hear what happened r/p/n?" One man said

"No what?" the other responded

"Rumor has it that Y/n L/n of the L/n clan has run away from the village. It happened 3 days ago." The first informed 

Y/n....what?

"How did she do it? The village has such tight security." The second man started

"I'm not entirely sure. Apparently the Anbu were sent to go after her" the first responded

That was it. I began sprinting towards the Hokage's office. I can't believe Y/n ran away. This is her home. This is where her family, her friends....this is where I am! I grit my teeth as I arrive and burst through the door. I see Kakashi sensei, Y/n's parents and brother, and the Hokage.

"Is it true?" I blurt out getting their full attention.

"If you are referring to Y/n's disappearance, then yes. It is true" the Hokage simply stated

Without even realizing, I activated my sharingan. I was so angry that they just allowed her to leave like she did. 

"Listen Sasuke calm down and..."Kakashi sensei started, but I had already run out.
