"Did you hear?"

"No what's going on?"

"Shhhh not so loud!"

"Look it's her!"

Many of the ladies in Mondstandt start whispering and talking as I walked through with a basket of fruit in hand, making way towards the knights of Favonious headquarters. I smile, shaking my head slightly as their "whispers" got louder

"I can't believe it's true"

"Such a shame he really is attractive"

"I can't believe he's actually off the market for real"

I glance down at the small ring on my finger and chuckle softly before opening the door to headquarters and going to the library.

"Lisa? I brought your fruit"

"Hey y/n, thank you so much for grabbing it for me" she walks towards me, closing her book. "The library is just a mess right now and I've never been this busy before"

"I understand" I laugh. "And im very happy to help"

She smirks leaning against the wall. "So...you're not too busy even with all the wedding planning? Don't tell me Diluc isn't letting you do anything"

I blush and clear my throat, letting out a light laugh "we're just taking it a little slow I mean he's busy with the Tavern and everything"

"I get it" she crosses her arms. "But I hope he's at last making time for you" she narrows her eyes as I scratch my head nervously

"I mean...he's just been a little bit busy lately but I don't think it's anything to worry about"

"Hm" she lets out a sigh. "You know we could really use your help at this dungeon we're going to be heading to. Your Geo element could really come in handy"

"Lisa you know I'm not a knight anymore, I don't have the right to go to those dungeons"

"That was under the grand master's rule, while Jean is here she'd let you help out, after all Jean really thinks you're talented"

"I don't know Lisa, I don't think Diluc would want me to"

She scoffs. "Just because he's your fiancée doesn't mean he controls your life. If you want to you should come"

"I'll put some thought into it" I wave goodbye to Lisa and start making my way back into town. I stop to get a bite to eat at Good Hunter when I run into a familiar figure.

"Hello gorgeous, this seat taken" I smile slightly shaking my head

"No Kaeya, it's not" he smiles sitting across from me. "Better not let Diluc hear you say that, he'll flip"

"Who's gonna tell him?" I let out a light laugh at his antics and continue to eat my food. He clears his throat gaining my attention. "Have you planned for the wedding?"

"Not much, Diluc had been busy lately at the Winery and with the tavern, I haven't got a clue what he wants for the wedding or when he wants it so I can't make any choices"

Kaeya narrows his eyes, then lets out a sigh. "It's your wedding too you know....honestly I wonder how he found someone so patient as you"

"I don't mind waiting really"

He clicks his tongue. "He shouldn't make you wait" the air grows thin and he gets up. "I should get back to headquarters"

After Kaeya leaves I finish eating and start to leave. Diluc has been a little distant lately, to the point where I barely see him in a day. If I wanted to talk to him about something he would simply say later and get back to work at the Winery. Not to mention he's been protecting Mondstandt at night....
