Hikaru x reader (Ouran High School Host Club Christmas special)

Y/n POV

The elite Ouran Academy, where only the richest and the smartest can attend. The host club, designed to give girls love (which doesn't make any sense because they pretty much just play with a ton of girls.) are made up of First year, Tamaki Suoh, First year Hikaru Hitachin, First year Kaoru Hitachin, First year Haruhi Fujioka, Second year Kyoya Otori , Third year Mitsukuni Honinozuka and Third year Takashi Morinozuka.
A/n- I hope I spelled those all right
Hikaru, Kaoru and I pretty much grew up together, yet they really never wanted much to do with me. I myself, was always interested in other things like books. They always came over for Christmas though. For some reason, my father was always fond of Hikaru. Yes, he was very good looking, but he only had an interest in being with his brother. During Christmas dinner, he would always sit next to me. Then my father fell ill one year and passed. My mother went missing so I was the only one left living there with the maids. It's my first Christmas without my parents, and guess where I'm spending it.

December 24 8am

*ring ring*

I open my eyes to the sound of my phone ringing. I pick it up from my nightstand and look who's calling.

Incoming call: Tamaki Suoh

I sigh and pick it up

"Tamaki there better be a good reason you're calling me at 8 in the morning on winter break" I mutter

"Awww come on Y/n don't be like that. We're having the Christmas party today for the host club and we need your help setting up"

"Why? I'm not even in the host club."

"But you're always here" he wines

"Because Haruhi is there and I don't have anyone else to hang out with" I defend

"What about the twins? You're not even the slightest bit jealous that Hikaru would rather spend his time with a bunch of girls than with you" he says smugly

"What he does with his time does not concern me Tamaki. If you want my help fine I'll be there in 30 minutes" I responded and immediately hung up the phone.

I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me. I do think that Hikaru was cute, I have for a long time. However he doesn't seem to care, I mean he'd rather hang out with a bunch of girls. I look myself in the mirror and slap my cheeks

"Snap out of it Y/n he's just another player not worth your time"

I changed I to a short pink dress with some pink tights to go with it. I then strapped on some white heels. Looking outside, it was snowing so I put on a coat and walked out. I take a seat in the limo and pull out my phone, seeing that Haruhi has sent me a text.

Haruhi: Did Tamaki call you

Y/n: yeah on I'm my way over now

Haruhi: It's only me, Hikaru and Kaoru here

Y/n : Wow called us and the whole host club isn't even there

Haruhi: Yeah I know

Y/n: Well I'll be there soon

Haruhi: K

I sigh putting my phone away. Hikaru and Kaoru are both there. Hopefully I don't have to deal with Hikaru, I'm honestly to tired to do so. The limo pulls up to the school and I get out slowly, letting the snow fall on my glove covered hands. I get to the music room and walk inside to see Kaoru smile at me.
