I don't want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need
And I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stalking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas Day
" I just want you for my own more than you could ever know, make my wish come true, baby all I want for Christmas is you"
"Yay Y/n!!!" Maka cheered
Maka, Soul, Jonathan and I have been living together for a while now. Every year, we dedicate a full day to decorating for Christmas because A) it my favorite holiday of the year and B) I never really got to do it with my family so we just do it now. While we decorate the tree, I like to sing my favorite Christmas songs like "All I want for Christmas is you" or "Last Christmas" or "have yourself a merry little Christmas".
"You're up Soul." I pat his back gently
"Funny joke Y/n I don't sing" he growls
"Come on Soul have a little Christmas spirit" Jonathan suggests
"Fine! You sing then!" Soul yells
"Maybe I will!" Jonathan barks back
"Guys! Stop! This is supposed to be a serene environment." Maka shakes her head
I giggle lightly as I hang the last ornament on the tree. We all step back and look at the beauty in front of us.
"I think we did a good job" Maka smiles
"Just missing one thing though" Jonathan starts
"The star at the top of the tree!" I yell. I run to the box and grab it. It's a gold star that easily fits on the top branch of the tree. Jonathan lifts me on his shoulders and I place it. I then jump down and we all high five. Looking at the living room, we have the tree in the corner, our stalkings hung up over the fireplace, little messages here and there and a reef over the piano.
"Great job everyone" Soul speaks
"Wow Soul being happy? never thought I'd see the day" I retort
He punches me playfully and the doorbell rings. Outside is Black star, Tsubaki, Liz, Patty and Kid.
Did I mention Kid is my boyfriend?
We haven't been together long so I don't think he knows about how I get during Christmas time.
"Kid!" I jump and kiss his cheek
"Hi love" he pulls me into a hug
"Hey guys this looks great" Tsubaki complimented.
"A lot of this was Y/n's doing" Jonathan admits
"It was a team effort" I correct him
"Why did you decorate?" Kid asks
"Because it's Christmas time!" I smile
Kid frowns like he doesn't understand me. "Do you not celebrate Christmas?"
"Not really, I don't really see a point of celebrating Christmas alone." He responds
"You won't celebrate it alone. You have us. And I'm going to throw the best Christmas party ever tonight and you're going to love it!" I announce
"Where is it going to be at?" Maka asks
"I'm sure lord death wouldn't mind us using the ballroom in the academy. Besides, he's known me for a while" I shrug.
