Im rewatching the show rn don't judge

Also I don't know exactly how many days they were on the mission on Galuna Island so im gonna guess 5

Y/n POV

"Master!!! Something terrible has happened!!" Mira shouted running down from the second floor. Gray had his arm around me as we looked at her.

"What is it Mira?" Master asked

"One of the S-Class quests is missing!" 

Gray and I both tense. Master looked angry. 

"Which one?" 

"The one about Galuna Island" 

The guild erupted in whispers. 

"I know who took it" Laxus grins. I let out a sigh. Laxus, my adoptive brother wasn't always like this, but he's so cold now. 

"Laxus" I breathed

" A little blue cat flew up and ripped it off the board" He laughed

"Happy?!" Mira exclaimed

Laxus went on about how dumb Lucy and Natsu were for taking the job. I felt Gray tensing as he talked about them in that way. I understood, but I never took what he says to heart. I knew deep down, he really didn't mean it. 

"Let me go after them" Gray announced

"Are you crazy?" I told him.

"Laxus won't go, Erza isn't here and no one else is willing to go." 

"let me go with you"

Gray picked me up bridal style and sat me back down after he got out from the seats. I looked at him, giving my full attention. He pecked my lips gently and ruffled my hair.

"It's too dangerous. I don't want you to get hurt. I'll be back tomorrow the latest, with both of them" He kissed my forehead and began walking out.

"Gray! What do you think I am weak?" I shouted, getting the whole guild's attention

He looked back at me, sighed, and walked out. Just like that.

Angry, I ran out of the guild to the forest behind and started training for the day.

Gray and I have been together for a while, never once has he made me this angry. Not only with him, but with myself. Am I really that weak? No I can't be. When we were kids and Laxus and I would train, he would always say I was more powerful than anyone my age. Even gramps said it.

"UGHHH" I screamed and bolts of lightning shot around hitting the trees. 

"Y/n" Gramps was standing near me

I looked at him, hot tears of frustration brimming my eyes.

"Gramps am I weak" I managed to get out

"Child, you are anything but weak. After everything you've been through and the amount of magic power you have, you may be stronger than even Natsu."

"They why? Why does he treat me like a child" I fell to my knees.

When I was about 3 or 4 years old, my mother abandoned me. She left me with my father, who taught me maker magic for about a year. Then, he was killed by members of a dark guild. Those members then took me, and abused me. It would get worse if a tried to fight back. At night, I would continue training my maker magic to one day escape. Finally, at age 5, a family of wizards found me and took me in. The mother had earth and water power and the father had fire and wind power. I trained to learn elemental magic for 2 years and they too, died on a mission. I then found Fairy Tail and Gramps and Laxus trained me with lightning magic.
