Sting x reader (Fairy Tail)

Y/n POV

Being a mage is one of the most amazing things in the world, especially when you have great friends, and a great guild. I am a mage of Sabertooth and have been since I was a little girl. My boyfriend, Sting is also the guild master. Sting and I have been dating for 5 years and our relationship is in pretty good shape. We fight, but always handle it like civilized adults, we are responsible, we never have had any problems with cheating or anything. However, our relationship is far from perfect. It started about a year ago, when Sting became guild master. I was so happy for him. I was always by his side. He'd often fall asleep doing paperwork so I'd bring him a blanket so he didn't get cold. Slowly, he started spending less and less time with me.

2 months ago

Today is my birthday. I am so excited to spend my day with Sting and all of our friends. I dress in a f/c top and s/f/c skirt and do my hair. I walk into the guild to be greeted by Yukino and to be told happy birthday by some of the guild members. I large grin appears on my face when Froshe runs to me and yells happy birthday, jumping on me and giving me a hug. Rouge follows behind

"Happy birthday Y/n" he says

"Thanks Rouge. Where's Sting?" I ask

"He's in a meeting with the master of Fairy Tail. He should be out soon" He informs me.

"Oh ok. I'll just go out with Yukino then. Care to tag along?" I ask

"Sure why not"

Rouge POV

I feel bad for lying, that meeting could last the whole day. I don't think Sting even realizes what today is. Lector didn't come out because he feels like he would end up telling Y/n by accident. She is like a sister to me and I don't want to her to be upset on her birthday. I put on a smile the Y/n looks back at me after fetching Yukino, trying not to look suspicious. I'm sorry Y/n.

Y/N POV

When we reach the market there are plenty of things to keep us busy. We do a little bit of window shopping and got some food to eat after we got tired. Yukino got me a cute friendship necklace and Rouge gave me a brother-sister keychain. Although I have a biological brother, Rouge is like my older brother.

"Jeez it's already 3." I say

"Yeah we've been here a while. Wanna go back to the guild?" Yukino asks.

"Maybe we should stay out here a bit longer. The weather is nice." Rouge responds

"Um ok I guess" Yukino says

We continue to walk around the shops, looking for something to keep us busy. Though I have already gotten new outfits, I feel like I am missing something. Finally, I find a jewelry shop and in the window there are pair bracelet that says "his princess" and "her prince". I thought it was perfect for Sting and myself so I bought it. After, we continue to walk, when suddenly we see a place to get some drinks. Inside, I see a grand piano. I walk up to it while Yukino and Rouge stay in line, knowing what I want. I sit on the seat and begin playing.

"In my heart, it's snowing, I'm trying my best to smile, slowly, it's warming as fate is linking you heart with mine, Fairy where you going we'll gather the light along the way, and make shine onto a brand new day"

Everyone in the shop begins to clap and I smile as Yukino and Rouge come with my drink. We walk out and realize it's already 7 and the sun is going down. We walk up to a hill and watch the sun set, enjoying the serene environment.

"Thank you guys, for today" I say

"You are part of our family. We would do anything for you" Yukino said
