Y/n POV
As the daughter of a high businessman, I have a lot to live up to. Some day, my father expects me to take over the family business and marry someone to see the l/n legacy. Either way, he expects me to be the perfect daughter, be the smartest and excellent at everything. Except, that's not who I am. Yes I am smart, but not enough for him. I am not at the top of my class. Therefore, he does not think I am good enough. I am not lady-like at all. I am Y/n L/n and the image my father sees of me is not who I am.
I am a 1st year at the elite Ouran academy, where only the richest and smartest people attend school. I don't like to associate myself with other people because I have a clear goal in mind and I should not and will not lose sight of that. We have this thing called a "host club" which doesn't make very much sense to me. What is the point of playing with girls feelings?
It was and early Monday morning. I had just woken up at my usual time 5:30am and began to get ready. By 6:30 I said goodbye to my father and little brother who is attending the elementary school and began to walk towards the limo. Once in, I put in my headphones and listen to a song I am learning to play on piano called "Endless struggle". The limo pulls up in front of school and I put my phone away. I walk out and walk to my first class. I sit down and begin to read my book when the twins Hikaru and Karou Hitachiin walk in and cause a huge racket.
"Hey Y/n do you want to come with us to the host club at lunch." My "friends" f/n and f/n ask me.
"No thanks. I have to study in the library for my test in history next week." I say
"Oh ok then" they say.
The lecture begins and I pay close attention, while taking notes to study. The rest of my classes come and soon I'm I class before lunch. The bell rings and I walk out when I am pulled by Hikaru into music room 3. The host club room. I was going to walk out when
"Y/n where are you going?" Tamaki Suoh says to me
"To the library to study." I say
"Awww come on now that you here you must stay." he says dragging me toward the crowd.
"H-Hey wait let me go" I yell at him
Then a huge crowd of girls come running towards him and I can't find my way out of the crowd Suddenly, someone pushes me and I fall flat on the floor. Luckily, I got out of the crowd while that happened.
"Let me help you up." A voice says
I look up and see 3rd year Takashi Morinozuka. He reached his hand out for me to grab it.
"Th-thank you Takashi" I say
"Takashi!!!!!!!" A little boy comes running for him. 3rd year Mitsukuni Haninozuka.
"Hi there Y/n!" he says
"Hello Mitsukuni" I say. I slowly begin to walk away when
"Where are you going?" he asks
"I must study for my test next week." I reply
"You should stay with Takashi so he doesn't get lonely while I'm with everyone else." He says
"Um well I mean I don't think he wants-"
"That's fine by me" Takashi says. I feel myself blush a little
"O-okay then" I say
"Bye bye Takashi!!!!" Mitsukuni says
"Do you want to sit down?" Takashi asks
"Sure" I say quietly
We find a nearby seating area and sit down. I began to get cold because we were right under the air conditioning. I start to rub my arms and Takashi takes off his blazer and gives it to me. I look up at him and he says
"You looked cold so I figured I'd give you my coat"
I look down completely flustered. I'm pretty sure I look like a red tomato right now.
"Have you eaten yet?" he asks me
"Uh I don't usually I spend all my time in the library studying." I tell him
"It's good that you are focused but you should also be concerned about your health" He says
"Uh sure" I say
He then makes me face him while he feeds me. Gosh....this is so embarrassing. I eventually take the food and it's actually pretty good.I smile at the fact that it's good and he shows a small smile which makes me slightly blush. By the time we are done, the bell rings for class. I take off the coat and give it back to him.
"Thank you for keeping me company Y/n. I enjoyed myself. I hope we can do it more often" he says walking away.
I smile and say
"I'd like that. And thank you too Takashi."
