~ 1 month before~

"Y/n!!!" 

My head snaps around as soon as I hear my name. Today is my childhood friend, Adrien Agreste's first day at my school. Adrien and I grew up together. His mother, Emilie Agreste was very good friends with my mother. Surprisingly, Gabriel never opposed to the idea of me and Adrien hanging out. Even after his mother disappeared, Gabriel didn't stop letting me see him. We would play piano, study Chinese, or just talk about what was happening in our lives. After months of pleading with him, Adrien finally got his father to let him come to school with me. 

"Hey Adrien!" I smile. "Are you excited for your first day here?" 

"Yeah. But I'm also kind of nervous too" 

I grab his hand. "It's ok I'm here to help you out! Come on let's go to class"

A/n: Ya'll already know what happened in class. If you don't, in short, Chloe put a piece of gum on Marinette's seat and when Adrien saw it and tried to get it off, she blamed him and didn't let him explain what really happened. 

~After school~

I watched Adrien as he handed his umbrella to Marinette after explaining what Chloe did. Marinette looked back at me as if she wanted to say something, and I just stayed with a neutral face. Adrien walks back to me an we get in his Limo to go home. 

"Let's stop at the coffee shop and get something to eat" I suggest

We go inside and sit down. I can see that the whole situation is nothing him, hence his silence. 

"Adrien..."

"I just don't understand why she got so mad at me"

I sigh, picking up my cup of coffee. 

"Is Chloe really that bad?"

I drink some of it and place the cup back on the plate.

"Chloe practically bullies Marinette and her friends. Sabrina also helps out. I guess since you know her and have been friends with her, she placed you on the same boat. "

He nods his head.

"Marinette is nice. I'm sure she doesn't hold it against you after you explained what happened"

We get back in the limo and they drive me home. I say my goodbyes and go inside. My mother and father awaited my arrival so I could study Japanese and practice singing. It gets later and I sit at the table with my family.

"Y/n. As I remember, today was Adrien's first day at your school correct?"

"Yes father"

"And how was that?"

"It was good. He got along nicely with everyone.

"I still think you and him would make a great couple"

"Mom!!"

We finish dinner and I go upstairs to practice piano. One of my favorite pieces is 'River flows in you' so I start playing. My fingers dance on the keys as I imagine myself dancing in a spring. Hearing the water flow and just letting the music engulf me whole. I finish the song and do my homework. By now, it's 11pm so I start getting ready for bed. I lay out my clothes for tomorrow, a f/c crop top and black leggings with black ankle wedged boots and lay down.
