Kaeya x reader (Genshin Impact)

I had this idea a while ago but I never wrote it so. This takes place when Kaeya sends you on the quest to find his "treasure"
Also replacing Lumine with Y/n and making Y/n slightly older so its um legal

"And that's the last of them" I put away my sword and Paimon flies up to me.

"Great job again Y/n!" we high five as i let out a breath, turning around to see Kaeya

"Finished already?" He smirks as I scoff

"I'm not a newbie when it comes to fighting hillichurls Kaeya, plus this was a small camp"

"Don't take it like that darling I'm simply at awe of your agility" He winks causing my face to slightly flush, but I shake my head. "Come on, let's get back to Mondstandt."

Kaeya and I met as I had fought with Stormterror after coming to Mondstandt with Amber in search of my brother. Kaeya was amazed that someone like me, who didn't have a vision, could use elemental magic, and face off with Stormterror. Throughout the time I've been here, Kaeya has usually accompanied me on my missions and when I have to go to a Domain. I'd be lying if I said I haven't developed a bit of a crush on the Captain, though I doubt relationships within the knights are permitted.

But lately, the Cryo user has been referring to me by sweet pet names such as darling and love, but has also been flirting with me. On some occasions, if I am bold enough, I will flirt back and we'd just go back and forth until one of us gives up, and most of the time, it's me. He's also taken me to eat with him, we've gone to the tavern together, and we just hung out a lot. He's been especially kind to me, and I think I've only fallen for him harder.

I stretch my arms as we reach Mondstandt and let out a yawn. "Finally back. Should we get a bite to eat?"

"Oh! Paimon thinks so!" Paimon raises her hand as she starts to fly to Good Hunter

I let out a light chuckle and turn to Kaeya. "What do you say Captain?" I say with a gentle wink which causes him to chuckle as well

"As much as I would love to darling, I must get back to headquarters and fill Jean in on what happened"

"I see, then I'll see you another time then" I wave and run in the direction Paimon went off in, and finally reaching Good Hunter, I order us some food and we sit down. I can't help but miss Kaeya, even though I just say him.

'Stop it Y/n, you're supposed to be focusing on finding Aether'

"So Y/n have you found any clues about your brother?" I shake my head as Paimon sighs

"I can't seem to find anything about him." I stop eating for a minute and look down at my hands. How long has it been? I'm not even sure. I have to find him though.

"Come on Paimon, let's head back to headquarters"

The next day rolls around and while I'm walking through Mondstandt, Kaeya lands in front of me.

"Come with me love, I need a favor"

Exchanging glances with Paimon, we both shrung and follow him to the fountain outside the headquarters.

"What is this about" Paimon speaks with sass.

"Let me tell you a secret" He winks at me, then continues. "It's a secret of my past, so keep it safe"

I nod, so he continues. "My grandfather was a pirate" I bite my tongue to prevent myself from letting out a laugh

'Don't laugh Y/n. Don't do it'
