Each one of my 3 brothers and 2 sisters have had this disease, and each one...died. Each of their dying wishes was for me to go on living and be happy.

The only way I can do that is to not get the disease

It's not that I'm living it without love, I love my family and friends. I just don't want romance.

"Y/n!!!" My head whips around to a brown haired running towards me

"Guess what!"

"You have somewhere to live now?"

"How did you know" she cocks her head in confusion

"Yes I did. But there's a slight problem..."

I wait for her to continue

"You see....it just so happened that when I was living in my tent, I was living in the Sohma property..."

"Tohru...what have you gotten yourself into" I pat her head

"They're letting new stay there until the renovations of my grandfather's house is done."

"We're going out later and I wanted to know if you wanted to come with us?"

"Sure I'm free. Is it just us?"

"Urm well..." Tohru trails

"She invited Yuki and Kyo too"

I freeze. "I can't go"

"Y/n pleaseeeee" Tohru begs

"Tohru you know I love you but I can't stand those two, or any guys"

"Y/n live a little. I know you want to keep your promise to stay alive but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with some friends"

I look at Tohru who has puppy eyes plastered all over her face.

'She really wants me to go huh?'

"...fine" I mutter

"YAY!!!" Tohru hugs me and runs off.

"We'll see you after class" Uotoni waves and Hanajima runs after the two
