Everything was fine up until that day.  I went to the academy and my older siblings were Chunin. Though I was the youngest, I was a genius. I was second in the village to Itachi Uchiha of the Uchiha clan. The L/n clan was known for having an immense amount of Chakra and having amazing e/c eyes like non other. Itachi and I were always training together. Since we were the smartest in class, we often competed with each other but were not enemies. Uchihas are known for having a fire nature chakra while L/ns always had multiple. I was gifted with a water style, lightning style and wind style. Though it seems like it would be a blessing to have this amount of power, many people in the village hate my clan because of our power. Itachi was my only friend and I was his.

" Hey Itachi?" I asked

"Yes Y/n?"

"Have you ever thought of the future?" 

"What do you mean?"

"Who would you marry, how many kids you want to have, what genders. You know that type of stuff." 

"Well I know who I want to marry...but that probably won't happen" He said sadly

"Why not? Everyone deserves to marry the person they love one day" I said flashing him a smile

"I...it just won't happen. I have to go now Y/n I'll see you later" He got up and walked away

"Itachi..."

~3 hours later~

Maybe I should stop by the Uchiha compound as visit Sasuke. I haven't see him in a while, I thought as I walked the dark streets of Konoha. I had stayed at the academy for extra hours to get some studying in and didn't realize how late it got. My parents are on a mission right now so they aren't coming home for another week. I decided to go visit the young Uchiha brothers, only to find that the the territory had become a ghost town. Though it was late, there was no one outside and not a single sound could be heard. I stepped into a famous restaurant to find 5 dead bodies. Each of them looked like they had been sliced by some type of sword. Worry started to fill me as my breathing got heavier. My heart started racing as I began to run towards Sasuke and Itachi's house. I prayed that they would be ok and started running faster. Suddenly, I saw Sasuke laying on the ground. Immediately thinking the worst, I ran to him and checked for a pulse. Luckily, he still had one, he was asleep. I looked up to see a dark figure. Itachi

"Itachi... what is this what happened here? Are you ok?" I questioned.

"Quiet before I kill you like there rest" He spat. I was taken aback from his rejoinder. He had never said anything like that to me before so why now? 

"Itachi what has gotten into you? Why did you kill all these people? And your brother... what did you do to him?!" I screamed. Itachi was always gentle to everyone. I refused to believe he was the one who did this but then again, he is very powerful. I held Sasuke tighter as the older sibling started at us.

"Sasuke is going to hate me for the rest of his life. Eventually, that hatred will grow into vengeance and he will want to kill me. And that is what he will do. For now, I am a rouge ninja. Goodbye Y/n" Itachi turned away from me. I whispered one last thing that I hope he heard.

"Itachi.....I love you"

~Time skip - Present time~

It had been 6 years since that day. 6 years since I last saw him. Itachi Uchiha. He is now and S rank criminal in the bingo book. I am  Jounin now and Sasuke had lived with me since the massacre. I found out my parents were killed on the mission they were on and I didn't have a clear reaction. A ninja must never show his or her emotions. Sasuke is in the academy, testing to become a genin soon. I didn't have any students. I preferred to only go on missions which despite me being one of the strongest ninja in the village, I don't get very much of. That's fine by me though. It gives me more time to spend with Sasuke and make sure he isn't pushing himself too hard. I was cooking dinner when I heard the door open and close. I turned the pot of food to a lower heat and went to go greet the Uchiha. I looked at him and gasped.
