Koushi Sugawara x reader (Haikyuu)

"We're finally done!" I stretched my arms up before letting them fly down

"I didn't think that interview would take that long" Suga yawns throwing his head back

"I can't believe it's been 5 years already" He looks at me and smiles softly.

"Best 5 years of my life" He kisses my cheek and I blush

Suga and I met in our last year of middle school. We had the same class for 3 years straight but never spoke to each other. I found out he was going to Karasuno and I was going there too. We ended up making small conversation and about why we were going there in that day. And here we are, 10 years from that day.

"What are you thinking about?"

"When we met" I lean on his shoulder. "It's been 10 years"

We stand up, leaving the recording studio. Fans start crowding us as we wave hello to everyone.

Did I forget to mention that Koushi and I make music?

After we graduated, Koushi and I also ended up going to the same college so we were with each other a lot. One time when we were in my dorm, he started playing my guitar and singing. I started to sing along too and that's when we decided that we wanted to start making music.

And here we are

"L/n!!!! Sugawara!!! We love you!!!" The scream

"That you everyone we really appreciate your support" I give them a wide smile and Koushi wraps his arm around me

"You guys are so cute!!!" Fangirl squeals are heard through the crowd. I let out a small giggle at the fans antics.

"We better get going. I hope to see you all at the concert tomorrow" Koushi and I wave goodbye and get inside our car. We drive to our shared apartment and when we get inside I immediately throw myself on the bed

"You really that tired?" He laughs

"That interview was long" I yawn

He turns in the tv to news reports talking about us. I prop myself up with my arms to see what it's about.

"Famous singers Y/n L/n and Koushi Sugawara are having their live concert tomorrow and fans are very excited"

"I can't believe they have this many fans and they only started making music 5 years ago"

"Not only are they talented, but they're a cute couple too. TokyoToday did an interview with them today and here's what they said"

They start playing a clip from the interview today.

"So how long have you guys been dating?"

"5 years. We started making music after we graduated high school and started dating" Koushi answered

"And if I recall, Sugawara you played on the Karasuno boys volleyball team"

He let out a small laugh. "Yes I did all 3 years of high school"

"And L/n what did you do?"

"I was doing (sport)"

"Very interesting. How did you two start dating?"

"Well I didn't actually meet Koushi until our last year of middle school. I was in the same class as him though all through middle school. We became friends and stayed friends through high school until a little while after we graduated he asked me out. It was before we started college though." I explained briefly

"Very interesting...well its about time to let you guys go. Good luck at the concert tomorrow night, the fans are eager to hear your music"

Koushi turns off the tv and I lay on my back, closing my eyes. He gets into bed next to me and I snuggle into him. He chuckles, bringing the cover over the two of us while still keeping one arm around me.
