"Wanna know the reason why Milo sold his soul in the first place?" I momentarily froze when I heard the mirror's voice in my head again. Kasalukuyan akong naghihintay sa team dito sa meeting room ng UHT. Seth said that we need to discuss something. I'm pretty sure it's not about the fight between them.

It's about something else.

"Milo sold his soul because he envies you. Everyone in the team had powers, except him. And he felt useless and unrecognized. That's why he did it." I just tapped my pen on my notebook at kinagat ang ibabang labi ko dahil sa sinabi niya.

"I don't know if you're my friend or not." Mahina kong sambit. Minsan kasi magagandang advice ang sinasabi niya sa akin. Minsan naman, sinasadya niya lang para mainis ako. "Oh, I'm your friend. Just not a very good one." Mahina nalang akong natawa dahil sa sinabi niya at saglit akong napahawak sa tagiliran ko. My wounds still sting.

Tumingin nalang ako sa pinto nung makita kong sabay na pumasok sina Milo at Jun. Milo just smiled at me and Jun handed me a cup of coffee.

"Still not healing, Xinny?" Tumango lang ako sa tanong niya at tiningnan lang siya na umupo na sa harap ko. Jun's fangs were out in an instant and napatakip nalang si Milo sa mukha niya. "In front of me. Wow! Really?" Natawa nalang ako dahil sa tanong ni Milo at tiningnan na si Jun na pasimpleng kinagat ang pulso ko. After a few seconds of burying his fangs on my wrist, my wounds started healing.

Matapos niya alisin ang pagkakakagat niya sa akin, binigyan ko lang siya ng tissue at sakto namang pumasok na 'yung iba. Walter just looked at Jun with a distorted face. Jun wasn't even bothered at umayos na sa pagkakaupo.

"Is everyone here?" Tanong ni Seth pero walang sumagot sa kanya.

"All present." Mahina kong sambit at napabuga nalang hangin. Tension was still in the air. These fools are giving me headaches. I just stretched the muscles of my back since my back is being painful lately. "Okay, I called you all here to discuss about this." Tumingin kaming lahat sa bagay na hawak-hawak ni Seth. It was the arrow-knife.

"I think most of us already know how dangerous an arrow-knife can be. It killed Wolfie's Dad, Jun's parents and it kills everyone who gets hit by it. Maliban kay Xin." Tumingin agad silang lahat sa akin dahil sa sinabi ni Seth. Oh, right. I got hit by an arrow-knife for several times now.

"Xin's healing blood is one reason that she's not dead." Pagpapatuloy ni Seth dahilan para mapalunok ako.

"But we're not like Xin. One hit from this, and we're dead." Natigilan agad ako dahil sa sinabi ni Seth. Fear travelled through my body because of what he said. Tumingin agad ako sa team na nakatingin lang kay Seth at bahagyang nag-iisip. "That's why we must be careful." Pagpapatuloy ni Seth at tumingin sa team na nakatingin lang sa kanya. Seth had this look on his face. A longing look. I know he missed the team. He's just not manning up for it right now.

Humugot nalang ako ng malalim ng hininga habang nakatingin ako kay Seth.

"Especially now that arrow-knives are being found everywhere." Kumunot agad ang noo ko dahil sa sinabi ni Seth. Wait, what?! Nanginig agad ang mga kamay ko habang nakatingin ako sa mga larawan na pinapakita ni Seth sa screen. It was photos from the Red Scout headquarters. Shine sent them to Seth to inform us.

Nakita kong umalerto na ang team habang nakatingin kami sa mga larawan ng arrow-knifes. They were both confused and mad at the same time. These deadly weapons are just being found everywhere?
