'Alpha Female'

The first drop of Xin's blood, the first whiff of the sweet winter strawberries filled the air. Hunger started the devour everyone. And at the first whiff of winter strawberries, Jun already knew what was coming. The vampires from different clans surrounded her, eyeing their prey.

Nanatili lang nakatayo si Xin sa gitna ng west wing grounds, everyone around her was already going crazy. Her blood is too intoxicating, too alluring that even a vampire thinks that he will die of thirst if he doesn't take a step and taste her blood now.

But before they could even move an inch, the King stepped in.

"Do not touch what's mine." He said it in a low tone, but full of aggressiveness and clearly marking his territory like a wolf, in contrast to what he is.

"Beauty is destructive." She said again and caught the stone being thrown at her. Jun winced after seeing the blood flowing from Xin's hands. The windows from the dorms started to wind open so that the students could see how the well-known hybrid strangles a full-grown vampire.

Inangat ito ni Xin sa ere at tiningnan ito sa mga mata. The vampire was a girl with crimson red hair, fangs digging deep on her own lips, drawing out blood.

"Beauty.. is not real." She said and dropped the vampire on the pavement, crawling for life. He handed his jacket on Xin, wrapped the bloody hands with it.

"I don't like the taste of winter strawberries that much. You're safe from me." Jun finally stepped down after hearing those words. The blonde vampire bowed at him. He was identified to be Kane, a high-class vampire from the upper clans.

Lumapit agad si Jun kay Xin at tinanggal ang jacket niya tsaka ito nilagay sa balikat ni Xin, to at least cover her with Jun's scent. Even Jun was intoxicated with the smell of winter strawberries, but he controlled his urge to bury his fangs deep down Xin's skin.
