Your point of view:
"Bye honey, I love you!" Shawn kissed me before he left the apartment and the door closed behind him. I waited for a couple more minutes until I was sure he was gone. Then I ran into our bedroom and got the box out that I hid under the bed.
Inside the box where a few hundret hearts cut out of red paper that I had already prepared as well as a few more sheets of red paper. I got everything out and quickly cut out the other hearts until I had no paper anymore.
I wanted to surprise Shawn tonight and since he wouldn't be home for a few more hours I thought that today would be the perfect day to do this.
I grabbed a pen and started writing a few words onto every heart. That took me a while and after I was done with it I grabbed a bunch of hearts and walked into the living room. I started hanging them up onto the ceiling. They didn't fit into the living room completely so I took the other ones into the bedroom again. Then I looked at my work and smiled satisfied. The hearts were exactly on eye level of Shawn so he could read everything perfectly.
Just then I suddenly heard a key unlock the door. I quickly turned off the lights and thought about what to do now. He was back earlier than planned but now I couldn't change anything. The door opened and the lights turned on again.
"Hey baby, I- WOAH!"
"Hey honey!" I walked up to him. He quickly kissed me before he looked at the hearts again.
"What's all this?"
"I wanted to surprise you! Well, I'm still not finished, I wanted to cook something for us but you came earlier than I thought."
"Oh honey, you didn't have to do this. Wait, you wrote something onto them?"
"Yes, on every single one. Every one has a thing or a reason on it about why I love you!"
"No! Baby!" He walked further into the room and grabbed a few hearts, reading what was written on them. Then he read another one and with every heart he read his cheeks got rosier, his smile bigger and his eyes teared up.
"This is honestly the most beautiful thing someone has ever done for me! I have no words to explain how much you mean to me! I love you so much!" He turned around to me and smiled.
"I love you too, Shawn!" he pulled me into a long and passionate kiss.
"You said you wanted to cook for us?" he mumbled after we broke the kiss.
"Yeah?"
"How about we do this another time and just order some pizza now and cuddle on the sofa while watching some netflix?" He proposed and grinned.
"I'd love that!" I smirked and grabbed my phone to order our food. We got the movie ready until the pizza arrived and then got comfortable on the sofa together. I cuddled into his chest and we started the movie. But deep down we both knew that we wouldn't stay like this for the night. For tonight we clearly had other plans...
Nope I'm sorry but I will end this right here, you can imagine yourself what happens next...
Honestly the whole imagine sounded better in my head but I had this idea and still wanted to post it though.
Aaaand today my holidays FINALLY started omg!!
