"Let's do something today." She said and walked into the room she shared with her boyfriend. He sat on the bed leaning back onto the headboard. Once she came into the room he looked up from his phone and smiled.

"What do you have in mind?" he opened his arms for her to come over and cuddle him but she stayed stood in front of the bed.

"It's a beautiful saturday how about we go out for breakfast?"

"That's a great idea!" he said and swiftly threw the blanket off his body revealing his naked chest. She stared at him for a second before he wrapped his strong arms around her to kiss her sweetly. She smiled as he pulled away again and quickly grabbed a shirt before he left the room to go to the bathroom. Since he once ran into her parents without a shirt on in the morning he always made sure to cover himself up when they were over at their house.

Shawn and Y/n visited Y/n's parents and since they lived in Germany they always stayed for a few weeks.

Y/n chuckled as she looked around her old teenage bedroom they stayed at, remembering all the memories she made over the past years with Shawn and from back then when she still lived here.

She quickly threw on some comfortable jeans and a shirt before she grabbed her purse waiting for Shawn to get ready. He walked in a few minutes later ready to go and held his hand out for her to grab.

Together they left her parents house and walked out to the car.

"Wait, let's take the bikes!" she stopped her boyfriend and turned around to go open the garage door.

"You can take my dad's bike" She said and rolled the bicycle over to him. After she got the second one she closed the garage again and they drove off.

The ride into the city wasn't too long, a good 10 minutes maybe. She told him stories about back when she drove down that particular street to school every day, or when her and her friends had little races on their way back home.

Shawn smiled as he listened to his girlfriend's stories. He loved it when she talked about her childhood. It meant so much to him that he was able to sit on that bike right now, driving through her childhood city. The place she grew up and spent most of her life at. He couldn't be more impressed that she left all of this behind to move to Canada with him, thousands of kilometers away. It made him feel so special and loved and every day he wondered how he got lucky enough to have her by his side.

He turned his head to look at her. She had a bright smile on her face as she continued talking but he didn't listen, too caught up in admiring her. Her hair danced in the air, flying behind her beautifully.

"Shawn watch out!" she yelled pulling him back out of his trance. He yanked the handlebars to the left, preventing himself from crashing into a parked car.

"Eyes on the road my love!" she mocked him playfully and he rolled his eyes, a soft smile plastered on his lips.

They strolled down the street hand in hand, enjoying the warm sun and the soft breeze that brushed by every now and then.

The weekly food market took place today so it was quite busy this morning as they finally sat down on one of the outside tables of a café, right underneath a beautiful big chestnut tree. Shortly after a waitress arrived with their ordered drinks, placing them down on the small table. Shawn had ordered a normal black coffee while Y/n went for a hot chocolate, her favorite.

They sipped their hot drinks, talking about anything, just enjoying each other's company to the fullest. Y/n threw her head back in laughter after something Shawn had said and he smiled widely at his girlfriend, overwhelmed with love.

They fell silent after that, both of them watching the scenery around them.

A young family walked past the café and Y/n smiled as she watched the little kids running around their parents. She'd always dreamed of a family and she couldn't wait to have kids one day.

"This will be us in a few years." her boyfriend whispered as he wrapped his fingers around hers.

"I hope so." She replied and smiled at him. He returned the wide smile and lifted her hand to his lips, placing a soft kiss onto it.

They finished their drinks and Shawn insisted that he would pay for it. Y/n knew that she couldn't change his mind so she just let him, not even trying to argue this time.

He wrapped his arm around his girl as they walked away, down the street again. Suddenly, a low grumble erupted from her stomach.

"Are you seriously hungry now?" Shawn chuckled.

"I guess?" Y/n giggled softly.

"Why didn't you just eat something at the café?"

"I guess I wasn't hungry then." Shawn stared at his girlfriend for a second before he let his hand fall off her shoulder and he grabbed her hand, pulling her with him to the nearest bakery that was just a couple houses down.

As soon as they stepped into the small bakery they were hit with the delicious smell of coffee and freshly baked bread.

"What do you want?" the tall guy asked as he looked at the variety of baked goods.

"You are not seriously asking me that are you?" she laughed at him and stepped in front of the counter.

"Hallo, ich hätte gerne zwei Brezeln." She ordered in her native language as Shawn stood next to her not understanding a word.

They sat down on a bench next to the fountain that stood in the middle of the place where the market was held. Y/n got out her Brezel and handed the other one to Shawn before biting into it. She let out a sigh and smiled. She always missed these when she was in Canada so she enjoyed them even more when she was back in Germany. After all, they made the best Brezeln in the world.
(Brezeln are my life!!! There's nothing better that a good German Brezel🥨(they were invented in a small town near my home btw))

She ate her Brezel in silence, enjoying the warm sun on her skin as Shawn suddenly jumped up and rushed away. She frowned but stayed in her seat as she watched him walk away into the direction of a small flower stand.

He returned with a beautiful soft red rose in his hand and a big smile on his face.

"A little something for my beautiful girl!" he kissed her lips before handing the flower to her.

"Wow thanks, what is this for?" she grinned, a soft blush on her cheeks.

"No reason but you deserve it! And I love you!"

"I love you too!"

I'M BACK yayy, I'm so happy I missed writing so much.
