I stood in the big hall of the airport, my little son in my arms as we waited for my husband Shawn to finally arrive. He was gone for tour in Europe for almost four months and today he was finally coming back home. My heart skipped happily at the thought of seeing him and holding him in my arms again. I baby talked to the little boy in my arms while he was looking around us with big eyes, holding onto my shirt with his tiny hands. I smiled down at him and placed a small kiss onto his head as finally the big double doors opened and the first people from the plane came walking out, big bags in their hands. My heart started beating out of my chest the smile on my face grew. My son noticed the sudden change of my mood and the many people around us and started getting nervous. His eyes grew wide as he looked at me, his little lips shaking. He was about to cry but I tried to sooth him.
"Shhh honey it's okay! Daddy is coming soon. Are you excited to see daddy again?" he ignored me and made some weird sounds since he couldn't talk yet but he must have understood what I said since he calmed down again and looked to the entrance Shawn would walk through any moment now. And then the group finally showed up.
Andrew, his manager walked in front of them, followed by Mike and Zubin. I started walking into their direction and then spotted him. He was already looking around the place, searching for us.
"Look, it's daddy!" I said to my son and pointed at Shawn before I called his name.
"Shawn! Shawn!" I waved my hand and he immediately turned around, spotting me. His lips turned into the biggest smile as he dropped his luggage and started running over to us. He threw his arms around us and pulled us into his arms, careful not to hurt the little kid between us.
"Gosh I missed you guys so much!" He whispered before he pulled away. Y/s/n lifted his little arms into the air and wiggled out of my grip , trying to get to Shawn. Shawn lifted him out of my arms and placed a big kiss onto his little cheek before kissing me onto the lips lovingly.
"Hey buddy, I missed you so much!" He baby talked and y/s/n giggled before staring back at Shawn.
"D-d Da D-dada" he babbled and Shawn's eyes went wide, as well as mine.
"D-did you hear that? He just said Dada! He said Dada to me, Y/n! Oh my god when did he started talking?" Shawn laughed and looked at me with teary eyes.
"He started trying to say words a few weeks ago but it wouldn't work. This was the first word he ever said!" I explained and looked at Shawn, who now started crying softly. I smiled and kissed him before wiping away his tears. Shawn laughed before looking back at our son who giggled happily in Shawn's arms.
"I love you. I love you so much my little boy!"
We were interrupted by someone walking up beside us and turned to look at them.
It was Andrew who quickly wanted to say goodbye to us and wished us a good weekend. He talked to Shawn for a moment before waving at us and walked away.
"I thinks we should head home now, it's getting a little late." I said to Shawn and he nodded. He gave y/s/n back to me who looked really sleepy already and quickly got his bags from where he left them before. The he took my hand and guided us outside. We made it to the car and all got in. Before I started the car I looked at Shawn who sat next to y/s/n on the backseat and smiled.
"I'm so happy you're back home again. You can't imagine how much I missed you!"
"Believe me, I missed you more! And I'm more than happy to be back with my favorite people again!"
I noticed that almost all of my imagines end with the main character/s falling asleep so I'll try to change that a little lol
