"Reth, what if there is no way out?"

We haven't moved at all for the last few days. Reth is taking his time. I don't know if we should wait for Sengen to get help or if we should just give up on him and continue on. Reth has been staring at the rubble for quite some time now, "Should we start looking elsewhere?"

"I don't know yet. I'm trying to calculate if we can break through here." Oh that's great! Another several hours to go before I get an actually answer. Yay.

"How long will that be?"

"I'm unsure."

"My patience is running thin, Reth."

He turned on me, snatching my shirt. His eyes were darker now. Almost turquoise," your patience is running thin? What about mine when all you're doing is sitting there telling me what to do!"

I gasped, hitting at his hand to release me, "Reth! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you."

His eyes lightened and he dropped me. He rubbed his forehead confusingly, "I'm sorry," He wouldn't look at me, "I don't know what came over me."

Several hours passed in silence. I was too afraid to say anything. Until now, "Look," he turned towards me from where he was perched, "my house is only a few hours away from here, if Sengen actually got there, someone would have gotten here by now."

"If you live that close then, yes, he should have gotten help by now. Something must've happened to him," he said clearly very focused. "We'll just have to wait a bit longer," he said. I sighed. Yep, definitely fed up with waiting. I got up and started to pace.

"If we want to get out of here, we have to try something other than just sitting here," I said facing him, "Any ideas?"

"We could make a bomb." He said, we have been sitting here for the past few days, and now he comes up with a bomb.

I stopped pacing and looked at him in disbelief, "A bomb? How are we going to do that!"

"I'm a scientist remember?"

I sigh and throw my hands up, I don't have a better idea, "Where do we start?"

He gave me a list of all the "ingredients" I would need. I started looking for the easiest thing on the list, three glowing mushrooms. This was the easiest list ever. I'm not that stupid.

I don't know why he needs a mushroom, but hey I won't argue if it will miraculously get me out of here. Turns out there are not many glowing mushrooms in a cave. I was about to give up on the whole glowing mushroom thing when I saw a smidge of green through a crystal. I walked behind the crystal, but nothing was there. I looked around again, I saw the glow again. This time I watched it, but it wasn't there long enough. It bolted across the clearing.

Did I just see that? I think I'm going crazy here. I saw the light again. I walked towards it. Again it moved across the clearing. Was it telling me to follow it?

I should do what any respectable woman would do, but I'm not a respectable woman. I followed it, until my foot hit something. I looked down and sure enough there was a small green mushroom at my foot. "Yes! One mushroom down, two to go."

I walked around the cave not straying too far from where Reth was searching, so I wouldn't get lost, trying to find two more mushrooms. Why is this so hard?

Finally, after almost an hour of walking, searching for the thing that should've been the easiest thing in the world to find, I found two more mushrooms, one with a bluish glow and also a small red one. I walked over to where I last saw Reth and held up my three mushrooms, "Tada," I said proudly.
