"Cassidy, please explain to me, in your own words what happened." I groaned as I sat there in this uncomfortable chair staring at Mr. Mclaughlin. "We've heard several accounts but we need to ask everyone so..."

"Ghost snapped. That's about it, can I go now?" He shook his head and I sighed resting my chin in my hand in boredom. "Look. Ghost must possess too many powers for his mind to handle. You're a teacher. You should know the strain it puts on one's mind. Especially if you have more than 3. My guess is this Jimmy character keeps Ghost from losing it even more. From what I saw he clearly had enhanced strength and something about hearing peoples secrets. He was very... I wanna say obsessed. I was able to distract... no, entertain him by sharing a few."

"Is that all..." I could see the curiosity in his eyes as I spoke. It tends to happen when I go off. It's not my fault, I'm smarter than most... ok all... except Logan. Mr. Sean Mclaughlin is no different than the rest of them. He's trying to figure out just how much I know, and just what I keep hidden. They've been doing that since I first popped up. I mean, why would a magic school/college made for training people to use and harness their magic and powers, pick someone who's powerless. I mean it's not even a hero school they just use that as something for us to fight for. I am more than aware of the number of people who are more likely to be villains than anything but they still keep them around. Probably hoping they can push them down a different path. What's the point though? How would that even... "Mr. Winters."

"Sorry..." I called out as I gripped my head, feeling it start to spin. I haven't had a headache since that all happened. I actually forgot how much they hurt. "No, that wasn't it. It seems that one of Ghost... triggers is Toast getting hurt. I am also pretty certain Toast is aware of Ghost other personality. He's always trying to find ways so Ghost doesn't have to use his powers." The bell rang and I smiled... FInally!

"Well, thank you for all that. You may return to your dorm. Classes are canceled for the remainder of the day." I nodded and quickly left. I wasn't looking where I was going and bumped right into Ghost as he was walking out of another room. He fell to the floor and started rubbing his head as I just sat there frozen. He looked up at me and his eyes went wide.

"S-Sorry... I didn't see you there. Are your..."

"I'm fine. I'm stronger than I seem. I've been through worse than falling on my ass." He smiled as I helped him up and I frowned. "How... How are you?"

"I'm good. I'm being asked all these questions though. It's kinda scaring me. Like... They're asking me about this Jimmy but..." I flinched slightly and he just laughed awkwardly. "I don't have a clue who that is. Also I... I can't remember anything from after I left King."

"Yeah... That was a dumb move." He rolled his eyes and I tensed up. This is hard... just pretending nothing happened.

"Yep, apparently leaving him, cost us the game... but I don't know. I have this feeling... I did something bad." I shook my head and he looked away. You didn't do anything you weren't allowed... Mainly because we managed to stop you in time but still.

"Ghost..." The bell rang and I frowned looking over at Sean sifting through papers. Seriously?!

"Well, thank you for all that. You may return to your dorm. Classes are canceled for the remainder of the day." I nodded again and this time slowly left the room. I watched as Ghost walked out of the other and I made my way around him as to not catch his attention. As much as I understand... It's still hard to play the part. I saw him hurt Patton. I felt the murderous intent. It's better if we don't talk for a while. In fact, I really don't want to talk to anyone.

I made it back to the dorms and I collapsed into my bed. It's been a hard couple of days. First Roman... then again what's new... attacks me. Then the whole mission thing. Patton knows I have some sort of power. No, he suspects because he saw my scales. Speaking of which...

I slowly stood up and made my way to the bathroom. I slowly took off my gloves and stared at the patches of scales that covered them. One had scales going down the wrist. While the other had them covering the fingers. I sighed and started to remove my shirt and stared at my reflection. Ever since I was 7, I've had a dress code. Long sleeved dress-shirts, full-length pants, and gloves. Why... My whole body was covered in patches of green scales. If I wore shorts or short sleeves, you would see them on my arms and legs. Same with my hands... Same with my face.

I took a deep breath and slowly removed my mask. Instantly I could feel the room pulse with energy. The smells took over everything. I could feel every little movement in the air and I wanted to run. I gripped the mask tightly as I set it down on the sink and frowned. I looked up to see the scales I wanted to be hidden the most. My one bright yellow eye glowed as the room raged around with energy it wasn't used to having. I groaned and walked overturning on the shower. I'm a mess...
