I stood there in front of the class with this happy smile on my face. I wanted to scream. Father was oh so happy to let me come here. If he only knew why I wanted to. I managed to... manipulate everything just right so that I was placed in the right class. The same class as him. THE ASSHOLE THAT BLEW US ALL THE FUCK UP!

I could see a familiar face in the back corner of the room and I smirked. I was actually looking forward to this. The teacher was doing the usual spiel... new student blah blah blah... God this was boring, but this was just one measly moment. I can deal with a few boring moments in the grand scheme of things. Because in the end... I'm going to make that snake suffer for what he did.

"So... I know this isn't elementary and we are all grown adults but still..." The teacher turned back over to me with a bright smile. "Please introduce yourself... Name, powers, discipline... Any facts you might like to share." Seriously? My fake smile never faltered but my mind was boiling. What was the point in all of this?

"Ok then. My name is Damien Fischbach. I..." A shot up and I looked over to see it was another familiar face. Shit... I totally tuned is presence out. "Hello again, William."

"Oh, I see you know each out then?"  I could tell the teacher was happy I already had a friend but Will and I aren't exactly what one would call friendly.

"He's my cousin." I groaned slightly as Will started waving frantically with a huge smile on his face. "Ok so..." I started counting off my hands. No real reason, I just wanted to look a part. "Names Damien. My Discipline... I believe that I found myself closer to Psychic then the others." The man sitting next to Jimmy... er, Ghost... popped his head up a bit and I frowned. He's the other psychic of this group if I remember my research well enough. "My powers... "

"Oh, Cassidy!" I stopped short looking over to see the very snake I came here for standing beside me. His eyes narrowed as he looked between me and the teacher before finally smiling up at the man.

"Hello, Mr. Sanders." His voice was quiet and soft, but it shook slightly with fear. Something was defiantly wrong here. "New student?" He glanced over at me never losing that small smile. I just stared at him. I could sense something was up. Something was different. And no I didn't mean the fact he was no longer wearing that stupid suppressor. I got the same feeling from him that I get from Anti and Jimmy. I wonder...

"Damien." I held out my hand and he took it cautiously. I noticed right away his gloves were a bit worse for wear. Does this guy ever take them off? He pulled his hand away but never said his name. In fact, he never said anything. He just went and sat beside a man with glasses. The teacher pointed over at a desk across from the man that Anti tried to hurt at the resort and I smiled.

"Why don't you take that desk and we'll get started on today's lesson?" I nodded and took my seat silently thanking that snakes good timing. I much preferred to not give away everything. I mean I wasn't going to but this way I can make sure Will doesn't start blabbering about the facts I left out. "Well, ok. Actually, since we all have...

"I'M TAKING OVER, THOMAS!" I feel my anger building as his voice tore through the place. A blast of smoke exploded through the door and even the teacher seem slight peeved. Mark walked in smiling away as he glanced over at me. Why must my father be a moron?

"Mark? What's this about?" Thomas crossed his arms and Mark just laughed.

"Field exercise." Mark looked over at everyone, his eyes sitting of the snake a few second more than everyone else. "I'm stealing you away for training. Let go." I glanced back to see several people looking at the snake who was just staring ahead like he wished he hadn't come today. He raised his hand and I frowned at how it shook slightly.

"May I be excused?" Mark just frowned as he glanced over at the man. "You mentioned it was a field exercise?" His eyes narrowed as the snake looked around at everyone. "Don't you think it would be hard... for me to communicate?" My father's eyes went wide and I narrowed mine. I knew something was off.

"Ah, Shit. I forgot." Thomas punched my dad's arm lightly and Mark just laughed. "I guess I'll just have to team you up with Logan." The snake just nodded and Mark smiled sadly. "I understand, Caz. I do, but..."

"I'll help." I raised my hand high in the sky and My father froze up. "I may not be privy to the information regarding what is going on with the young man but as my father, I am sure you're aware of my capabilities." Shit... I let Dark slip through a bit. Mark narrowed his eyes at me and I just smiled. "I'm sure I can help somehow." Mark sighed as he thought it over. The snake honestly looked scared. Thomas started whispering in my father's ears but Mark just shook his head.

"No, Damien is right. He would be a good choice to team up with Caz." Mark narrowed his eyes with thought and I smiled. "Out of everyone outside there good he's the best choice for the last teammate." I smiled back at the snake only to see his tension rising. Just what are you hiding?

"Alright then. We have our teams." I glanced back over at My father to see him pointing over at Thomas. "Team Sanders will Be Cassidy, Patton, Roman, Logan, Virgil, and Damien." I narrowed my eyes as he pointed to himself. "Team Fischbach is William, Chase, Ghost, Toast, King, and Jackie."

"Finally even teams." I could hear someone whispering.

"It wasn't the uneven teams that cause a problem." Someone else chipped in.

"Yeah, now we have Cassidy to worry about." I narrowed my eyes as the whispering continued and the snake was slowly curling in on himself. Something about the sad look in his eyes made my blood boil. I didn't like it. I wanted to be the one that made him suffer. I took a deep breath and let my power branch out to the other team, marking them with my aura. That way I can keep an eye on them. If I was going to participate, I was going to use everything I can to my advantage. Toast's eyes went wide as he jumped up. I just smiled. He was looking around but he wasn't going to see anything. I cracked my neck and Mark frowned.

"Let the games begin."
