CHAPTER 20: Allergic reaction

Natasha POV

Everybody was tired and beat out because we had practice till the afternoon, we all sat on a bench and were talking random stuff, when Tyson offered to go to the cafeteria to get all of us some juice.

He brought a tray with different combinations of juices and everybody took one. There was only a glass of orange juice left, so I left it. "Hey, don't you want juice." Tyson asked and I shook my head no, "She is allergic to anything that may contain oranges, or has a bit of oranges. A few drops is enough to kill her." Percy explained.

"Oh, sorry, I did not know. I'll go get you another one." Tyson offered, "Oh no, sit, I'll be fine. I'll drink something later." I said, "No, I don't mind, let me go fetch you a different flavour." Tyson said as he stood up and went back to the cafeteria, "Oh my word he is so nice." I cooed. "Hey Percy, do you still have Bruce's number and the others, I kinda lost touch with all of them ever since I smashed my phone broken?" I asked, "Yeah, I will send it to your new phone tonight." Percy said and I rested my head on his shoulder.

A few seconds later Tyson came with apple juice in hand I smiled, "Thanks, you bought my favourite without even been told. You are very nice." I smiled as I took the glass and he returned the smile. I drank the glass halfway and stopped, it tasted so great that I decided to finish the while glass and I was done before everybody.

Out of nowhere my chest felt tight, I coughed a little bit and Percy rubbed my back, the coughing got worse and I tried to hold back from coughing as to not get the others worried, I then began gasping for air as it got harder and harder for me to breath. "Are you okay Nattie?" Jack asked and I nodded while still gasping for air, "You not okay, you are sweating." Percy said getting worried.

My vision got blurry, "Jack what's happening to me?" I asked getting scared and I felt my brother immediately by my side, he helped me sit on the ground and placed my head on his lap, "Nattie, I need you to open your mouth, I need to see something." Jack said. "Will!" I heard Percy call out, "Am I having another episode?" I questioned, "Don't worry about that, right now I need you to open your mouth for me." Jack said a worried voice.

While still grasping for air I opened my mouth, and I heard someone's feet jog towards me, "What's wrong with her." I heard Will's voice, "She-she is having an allergic reaction." Jack said while picking me up, "Can you please help me take her to the infirmary, she could die. She is having difficulty breathing, she needs medical treatment immediately." Jack said as I felt him walk a distance then finally placed on a hospital bed.

I felt a warm temperature at my throat and it seemed to be wanting to opened my airway but it was not working. "Percy, tell her to hold your hand, that way you can measure her level of consciousness." I heard Will say and Percy took my hand and I held it firmly.

Percy's P.O.V

Tyson got the drink for Nattie and she drank it halfway and then put it down, then a few moments later she drank the whole glass and was finished before all of us. Not soon after that Nattie began coughing so I rubbed her back, the coughing got worse, and then Nattie began having difficulties breathing. She was literally gasping for air, "Are you okay Nattie?" Jack asked and Nattie nodded still gasping. Her forehead began sweating- something was wrong, "No, you are not okay, you are sweating." I said in a worried voice.

"Jack what's happening to me." Nattie asked panting, Jack immediately stood up and was by her side, he removed her from the chair and placed her in the ground, slowly placing her head on his lap, "Nattie, I need you to open your mouth, I need to see something." Jack commanded, "Will!" I called out to Will from where he was standing with the Stolls, "Am I having another episode?" Nattie asked in a faint voice still grasping for air.
