CHAPTER 15: Sing with me

Natasha POV

We were about to enter when Leo stopped us, "Hey, why don't you guys come eat with everybody. Please come join us." Leo said and I looked at Percy and Jack and we all nodded to each other. "Sure." Percy answered and we walked to a hall.

When we entered, inside looked like a cafeteria. Leo guided us to where we were supposed to get our food, and there we met other centaurs, "Afternoon." I greeted one centaur and it greeted back. "Here you go." The lady centaur said and I awkwardly took the silver platter she handed me- the awkward thing was that it had no food. I turned around and found Percy, "Percy, these platters has no food, and I see you have one too- an empty one." I said with greeted teeth and Leo laughed behind me.

"Listen fire boy, my appetite is something you do not want to mess with." I said while advancing towards Leo, "Woah, slow down. Now come sit." Leo said as he guided me a table where a lot of boys and girls sat. Percy and Jack came to sit next to me.

"Babe, you have to imagine the type of food you want and it will appear in the platter." Percy said and I raised an eyebrow, "Go on." Percy said and I imagined 5 peaches, an apple juice and an apple. And for a bonus I got myself 5 strawberries.

"Damn girl, isn't that a bit much." Piper asked, "No Piper, this is called average to me." I answered and her mouth dropped, "Yes, I somehow know you. I don't know why, but I seem to know everybody I meet here." I said and she smiled, "And you are?" She asked, "Oh, I am Natasha." I smiled and Piper looked at Jack who was busy stuffing food into his mouth.

"Oh, don't expect an introduction from him. His Jack- my brother." I said and she laughed. "Oh my marshmallows, you are Nico's sister. It's nice to meet you Bianca. It must be awesome to have a brother like Nico?" I asked as words appeared in front of Bianca, giving every information about her.

"I am a child of Hades but, you are just creeping me out. Like how do you know such things. And Nico is a pig for a brother." Bianca- Nico's sister replied, "Hey. You worse, you are a warthog." Nico scoffed. "Well at least your brother does not tell you, 'you are gonna get fat'." I said while looking at Jack and he looked the opposite side.

"He tells you that, like I understand where he is coming from- like look at your plate. But he tells you that?" Piper asked, "Yep, but that is what makes him Jack." I answered and was about to bite a peach when somebody held my hand, "No, no, no. In this camp, if you are new to this camp. You have to do something for your food." An annoying girl called Annabeth said. "Okay." I said then clapped my hands together and closed my eyes.

Oh please help me control my anger and not disrespect my food by disrespecting this lovely beautiful lunch by losing my appetite. Oh please help me not do damage her, because I really don't want anybody getting hurt. I have never used my strength on a being that contained human DNA, please don't let me start now. Amen.

I prayed all that in my head and then opened my eyes. "There. Happy. I prayed. Now go away, or would you like to say hallo to someone on this table." I said getting bored of her. "Hallo Percy." She said, "Hi Annabeth." Percy greeted, "What I meant was, you have to show a talent you have before you eat the food. The stage is right over there, so you can perform." Annabeth said leaving Percy and coming to me because she noticed how Percy was not able to stand her at that moment.

"Well too bad. I have no talent, my talent is to eat." I said and took the peach to place in my mouth but the girl held my hand again, I took slow heavy breaths because I was really trying to keep my cool, it's like having this power gave me temper issues, "Nattie control yourself, one hit of yours in anger could kill her. Calm down." I heard Jack's voice in my head and I scrunched my face in frustration. "Annabeth leave her alone." Percy demanded.
