CHAPTER 18: Bon fire

Natasha POV

"Hey, when is the bonfire starting?" I asked, "At eight." Nico answered and I smiled thankfully then stood up from the couch, I am gonna take a quick shower, I had gotten quite dirty while playing with Cerberus." I said as I nudged Cerberus and ran upstairs to my room. I threw all my clothes in the washing basket and jumped into the shower.

I zoned out for a bit, and this was enough time for me to accidentally wet my hair, and I hadn't even learned to dry my own hair yet. I properly showered then let the water run through my body as I just stood there with a blank mind. "Natasha!" I heard someone call my name, so I switched off the shower, "Natasha!" I heard Piper's voice call out to me so I quickly wrapped myself with a black towel and went out of the bathroom.

"My quick shower wasn't really a quick one- was it?" I questioned as I took my lotion bottle squirting some into my hands, Piper and Bianca nodded, "Wow, your room is so huge, and you have your own shower, awesome!" Bianca boomed and I laughed. I walked into my cupboard and dressed myself in a black top, skinny jeans and some warm boots, don't worry- I definitely wore socks. I came out and smiled at the others, while Piper looked behind, "What is that room for?" Piper asked.

"Oh, that's not a room- it's my cupboard." I said and Piper ran inside and I followed her, "It's so huge." She said and I heard my phone buzz, I ran out and found it on my desk.

Come on down, I can't wait for my first bon fire with you, just holding you while you are seated next to me😍 Hurry!

Percy texted and I bit my lip.

I texted back, "Ooh, I am feeling the vibrations of love." Piper said from behind making me jump, "Let's go, they are waiting for us down stairs." Bianca said, "Are you gonna do something about that hair." Piper said and I shook my head sadly, "I will just have to dry it with a towel for now, I will make a plan later." I said.

"You can ask Percy to dry it for you." Piper said and I looked at her while walking to the door, "No, I don't want to ask him that, it's being unnecessary." I said and Piper grabbed my hand and marched us downstairs where the guys waited for us, "Percy dry her hair." Piper commanded, "No don't, it's being unnecessary, it will dry by itself." I said quickly and Percy looked at my hair and then I felt the cold wetness disappear.

"Thank you Perce, but you really didn't have to." I said while glaring at Piper, "It's okay, you would have caught a cold." Percy answered and I smiled thankfully, he walked towards me and our hands intertwined and he guided me outside the cabin. Both of us and the gang went to an open place in the woods. Everybody was busy gathering logs so that the campers could sit and the children of lord Hephaestus were setting up the fire. We helped out a little then sat down. Not long enough, other campers started appearing and finally everybody was seated.

"Quiet down everybody!" Chiron boomed with authority and everybody quietened down and looked at him, "I would like to introduce you to two new campers..." Chiron said gesturing for me to stand up and I shook my head scared, then he gestured for Jack to stand he stood. Jack looked down at me and told me to stand, but I remained sat- I did not like being the centre of attention, even if I shared it with another person.

He grabbed my hand and made me stand up, I felt like my heart was being blocked from beating, "This is Jacques and his sister Natasha." Chiron introduced us and I shivered from nervousness, when I sang with Percy on the cafeteria, I had not noticed so many campers.
