CHAPTER 52: Gone

Percy POV

The portals were now being close because everybody had gone. Jack suddenly jerked his head in the direction of the palace, "Dad! Nattie!" Jack called out with a look of horror on his face. Everybody was shocked at what Jack had called lord Chaos cause they hadn't figured it out yet.

Lord Chaos and Jack both disappeared, I used the water vapour in the air to detect where they had gone, just like Jack had taught me. I mean Jack looked horrified after saying Nattie's name. I immediately teleported there and found myself in a bathroom. "What happened?" I asked and Jack and lord Chaos silently looked at the wall...

There was blood splatter all over the tiled wall. "What happened?" Aunt Christie appeared, she too spotted the blood. She froze blankly staring at it, not long after that she began shaking her head slowly. Lord Chaos teleported to her side and held her shoulders comfortingly, "Christie..." He too seemed to be in a mental shock. "No Chaos..." Aunt Christie began releasing suffocated breaths, "Christie..." He called out to her again, "No Chaos! No... That-That is my baby's blood." Aunt Christie broke down into tears.

That was Nattie's blood on the wall... It belonged to her... So much blood. "Wh-where is she? Where is she?! Wh-why can't I trace where she is? Why?!" Aunt Christie breaking down tremendously making it hard for lord Chaos to hold her. She was shaking with emotions. "Why can't I trace her life source? Where is my baby Chaos..." She asked again and lord Chaos looked at Jack, "I can't tell where she is. I can't tell where she was taken, not even a whiff of her scent. This is the last place where she was..." Jack trailed.

Nattie was missing, "She is not even immortal yet. My child is gone and I don't know what's happening with her. I don't know where she is, whether she is alive or..." She trailed off, "Christie I'll have our daughter found dear." Lord Chaos held her face in his hands, "But why can't we tell what's going on with her, it's like the connection we have with her as her parents has been broken. That blood on the wall is hers." She cried.

"What's going on?" Aether appeared, "Mother?" He questioned, "She's gone Aether, she's gone!" She said and Aether froze, "Listen, get everything ready while I take your mother to her chambers." Lord Chaos ordered and then disappeared with aunt Christie. Aether too disappeared and it was just me and Jack, "Percy..." He looked at me but I did not react to his call. "Percy!" He shook me which made a tear drop from my eyes, "Is that Nattie's blood on the wall." I managed to speak. "Y-yes." Jack answered afraid of my reaction.

I swallowed a huge block that was stuck in my throat. "Do-do you think she is still a-alive." I asked but Jack did not answer, "Answer me Jack..." I looked into his eyes, "I don't know Percy, that is so much blood lost in such little time. I want to tell you what might have caused her to bleed like that but you are still too young." Jack said, "I have seen war Jack... Tell me what happened?" I shook him so he could bring it out.

"I can't Percy... I just can't say it." Jack looked suffocated, I know I was being selfish but I wanted to know, "Then show me what you think happened in here, please." I begged and he released a sigh and his electric blue eyes shot into mine, he showed me everything of what he thought.

He showed me how he thought somebody took Nattie's forehead and smashed her head into the tiled wall, making her blood splatter everywhere. After Jack showed me this I passed out. Jack sprinkled water over my face while asking me to wake up. "We should go... Dad has called a meeting." Jack said as I got up to my feet.

The images began playing in my head again, I couldn't bear what I was seeing. My head felt so heavy, I was getting so angry for many reasons. "Percy you have to calm down." Jack looked at me, he seemed to know what was going on with me, "I can't." I said as I could feel the rage burning inside me, I was having so many mixed emotions that they all blended into one which I could not identify.
