CHAPTER 53: Searching

Percy's POV

Tartarus's pressure on me was not as much as last time I was here so I could easily move around. We were teleported to an opened courtyard and we made ourselves seats as Tartarus summoned the five monsters we were to interrogate. They all snared at us but we just gave them emotionless faces. "Where did your fellow monsters disappear to." Jack asked but their ignored him.

"Where?!" Jack snarled darkly, but still they remained mum, "I was here last time... And I don't remember being nice enough for you to ignore me. Speak!" Jack roared, "They were taken by a teenage boy yesterday!" Harpy answered alarmed, "Pathetic bird." Polyphemus snarled because Harpy hadn't kept mum for as long as they had planned.

"Is this the boy?" Luke asked taking out a picture of Antonio but nobody answered, "Yo! I didn't whisper... Is this the boy!" Luke asked, "Yes, yes!" Harpy answered, "Somebody kill that bird!" Brontes exclaimed, "Shut up, it wasn't you feathers he pulled out. Besides, I'm not a bird, I'm a f**king harpy!" The Harpy exclaimed and I was slightly shocked cause those kind of cuss word was mainly from goddesses.

"How did he manage to pass Kampê?" Tartarus asked, again they took too long too answer, Jack made swords out of pure ice and placed it at their throats, "Do you wanna call on my bluff... Again." Jack asked as he pressed the swords even deeper, "She wasss made to hallucinatessss. To her we looked like we were doing our hard labour but it wassss otherwisssse." Euryale, the sister of Medusa hissed.

"Explain the characteristics of the boy and why the monsters did not react to alarm the wardens." Jack said, "You know, being here in Tartarus... If you get injured... The injures remain, you practically the mortal immortals in here. You will heal but the deformations will remain." Jack formed ice sculptures which attacked the monster but non of them spoke.

The statue attacking Harpy began ripping off her feathers, the statue attacking Euryale began pulling her snakes on her head, the statues that were attacking the two cyclops broke most of their bones, the statue attacking Python the dragon broke his wings making it impossible for him to be able to fly for a while. We just watched the happenings of the monsters withering and screaming in pain.

"I shall speak!" Python said just when his wings were about to be ripped off. Jack made the ice statues disappear with the snap of a finger, "We're listening." Jack growled, "The boy who came yesterday displayed the aura of a half blood, but his strength was not of a blood. Everybody knows how hard it is to trick Kampê but he did it easily. The monsters who disappeared did not have time to react, they were just taken within a breath." The dragon spoke.

Tartarus waved his hand making them disappear. We went back to camp and messages popped up on our phones. It was a video from Piper, we opened it and it was from the top view from the ship. There was a white smoke sucking up monsters on land. "I'm gonna tell them to come home and not engage." Jack said. He opened up the portal and we walked through taking us back to planet Chaos. We went to lord Chaos's house and sat in his garden.

We sat silently in our own thoughts. "Who were you protecting Nattie from all these years?" I asked out of the blue, "From father's brother, Order. He wants to destroy everything and build a new universe. He was waiting for a weakness all these years, and now he has got it- Natasha." Tartarus answered. "Then why aren't you looking there?" I asked, "Because he has been MIA for many years now, it can't be him." Jack said, "It's him." I argued, "It can't be him, it's not him. If it was, there wouldn't be signs of Nattie being alive. He would've killed her to weaken Father." Tartarus said.

"I said it's him! Where is lord Chaos right now?!" I asked getting up, "Percy he is with mom. You can't needlessly mention Order in front of her, she will freak." Jack said, "It's not needlessly. I will prove it. Where is he?" I asked, "He is getting all the planet's where there is life checked, to see if she is there. He should be back in a few." Jack sighed giving up.
