CHAPTER 57: What happens when I eat

Natasha POV

Jack served his mother and then Percy and Luke. The others began pouring into the kitchen and they served themselves, they did not eat a lot because they still had lunch to eat. Everybody had eaten except one. Just the thought of him made my joints numb, but I could not ignore him because this was his house and this was his family and he cared... That's why he had not come before me. I dished up a plate and held it in front of one of the maids.

"C-can you please g-give this to your lord Chaos." I asked her and the chattering room became quiet, the maid took the plate and went out. I did not know what to say in the sudden silence so I went back up in my room. I went out the glass door and was now stood by the terrace, there I saw Chaos walking around a bunch of red roses. I don't know why but it was disheartening to see him walk so lousy, like he had a burden.

The maid came and presented the plate in front of him, "I do not wish to eat right now, but thank you." He said, "Lady Christina said I should tell you it's from Natasha." The maiden said and he looked at her shocked. He then looked up at the balcony where my room was located and spotted me. His face just made it impossible for me to look at him. "She really dished for me... But I want my daughter, not food." I read his mind.

"Please eat." I told him telepathically, what had come over me, why did I say that. He looked at me for a while but then accepted the plate, as soon as he did walked back into my room. There were a few books on the cabinet so I took one out, Twilight. I read it and stayed in my room.

Minutes later Jack came holding a plate of food and placed it in front of me on the table, he placed his plate on his lap, "Go on eat." He said. "I'm scared." I said looking at it, "Did something happen?" He asked worried, "No, and that's the problem. What if it happens when I'm suddenly relaxed?" I asked, "I'm here, Nemean's here, everybody's here." He said simply and I took the plate, I began eating and I easily conversed with him.

He told me about the things I did as a daily routine. When we were done eating he connected his phone to the flat screen TV and made a slideshow of my pictures. He explained what was going on around that particular day. Percy was in most of them and I looked quite close to him, I wanted to ask Jack but I did not want to make my life awkward. Like let's say Percy and I were in a relationship but I don't remember and stuff like that...

"Hey, what are you guys up to?" Luke asked as he entered with Percy, "Nothing much, just going through some pics." Jack said and they took a seat on the other couch, "Hey, where's your necklace?" Percy asked and I was confused, "Necklace?" I asked, "Yes, there was this necklace that you always had." Percy said.

"No, I never had a necklace before." I said, "You probably lost it somewhere." Luke said, "Yeah." I said as I tried to remember the necklace. "By the way, I must say. You would make a good match with Tarzan, I mean the way you looked a few hours ago..." Luke trailed off as he chuckled, "Thank you, I try my best." I stated, "We definitely need to watch Tarzan." Jack said and switched off the slide.

He pressed a few buttons and the Tarzan movie began playing. We watched silently when the movie was finished they looked at me waiting for the review, "I actually like him, I wouldn't mind being his wife." I said simply, "Say what now?" Luke was shocked, "He is a jungle boy, you will live and breath animal." Luke said, "So what, I would love him right? Anyway animals are not bad, they are actually great friends. It will be fun jumping from tree to tree and their jungle fashion is quite awesome." I said.

"Okaayy... Let's say Tarzan was a merman, would you still be with him?" Luke asked, "I would love him Luke, I'm sure there is a way for me to breath underwater and be with him." I whined because he was not getting the point. Just then Nemean appeared right in front of me with a snow white friend. "Nemean, how was your day." I asked as I kissed his forehead and stroked his mane. "Balbasor." Jack fist-paw bumped the white animal. "This is Balbasor, my sabertooth tiger." Jack introduced him.
