CHAPTER 49: Winter's winter

Natasha POV

I woke up early than I was supposed to I decided it was maybe time to face my fear while everybody was still asleep. I brushed my teeth with excuse of wanting to go to the bathroom and then went to my room again. I used my bedsheets to make a rope and climbed out the window cause the female security guard would not allow me to leave because it was still too early. I wore a cycling shorts, a sports bra and a jacket over it. I climbed out and hid from the security and finally searched for the gymnasium, to my surprise it was open. I ran in and saw all the obstacle courses which were very easy to do but as soon as I saw the plank I started hyperventilating as all those images appeared before me once again. "Stop!" I exclaimed, I just had to do this. I removed my jacket and threw it on the floor.

I was now face to face with the first obstacle and I did easily, as I did it and continued, it became harder and harder which made me fall a few times but I did not get hurt. I finally reached the plank and I climbed it, I took one deep breath and did a cartwheel, then two back flips and then flipped off the plank in perfect posture. I screamed my lungs out, out of happiness, I had finally done it after a long while. I ran to the start of the obstacle again and repeated everything without falling this time. I did it again for the third time and I was flying threw that obstacle course.

I felt like a vampire travelling at high speeds, when I flipped off the plank I did back flips around the whole whole gymnasium, I stopped by the entrance to find a woman standing in front of me, I remembered her from the day before as the gymnasium teacher. "I am so sorry ma'am, I... I... I wanted to register um... Yesterday but I have a history with gymnastics so I ran away in fear. I just came here to get over what happened in the past, I just wanted to find out if I could..." I trailed off but the teacher just looked at me. "I'm so sorry, I won't do it again." I said holding my ears.

"I'm probably gonna get detention, clean the corridors, clean the toilets, pick up the papers, something?" I questioned and then I gasped, "Please don't tell me I'm gonna get suspended, I didn't mean to sneak out." I said, "I want to see you during first break." The teacher finally spoke and I gave one nod, then I turned around to look at the courses again, "I know I'm in trouble but can I do the courses just once more, it has been so long since I have felt like this?" I asked and she nodded, I happily ran and did the course one more time and ran out of the gymnasium after wearing my jacket.

I went back to the girl's dorm and climbed up my room. When I reached the room window, a handed was extended to me, it took it happily and it pulled me up and I jumped up and stood in front of the person. I embraced Percy into a hug and he kissed my forehead, "You seem to be in a happy mood rebel." He chuckled and I kissed him out of nowhere on the lips and he happily returned it. Percy picked me up bridal style and span in circles which made me release a happy screamed. He stopped and pressed his lips against mine and then looked into my eyes, "My baby is so happy." He smiled and I gave him a huge grin.

Jack appeared and separated Percy and I, he made me sit on my bed and made a seat appear for him and Percy. I was trying so hard to sit still because Jack looked so serious, I jumped up taking Jack's hands and spinning in circles with him. "Your trick worked!" I exclaimed and he stopped, "What trick?" Jack asked and I threw myself at my desk chair, "I know you came last night and made me dream about that accident, I appreciate it but the next time you do that after I beg you to wake me up- somebody is gonna get hurt but I will appreciate it still." I smiled.

"Young lady you know way too much than you are supposed to know, what else do you know?" Jack asked, "You really wanna talk about it now?" I gave him a straight face, "Yes." He answered bluntly, "But I don't remember, I was just murmuring last night. I mean I remember what I told you last night but... Jack!" I whined, "I have a lot of questions Nattie!" Jack said, "I thought we signed a deal when we started such talks, we never repeat it, we act like nothing ever happened- you breaching the contract." I stated.
