CHAPTER 72: Heat

Natasha POV

I woke up feeling really hungry when I was certain I had eaten a load last night. I lazily got up and slipped myself into a black sweatpants and a grey top. I then teleported to the table where everybody was, "Morning." I greeted everybody and they greeted back. "You look horrible." Gaia pointed out, "I'm hungry." I stated as I served myself, "But last night you ate so much." Eros stated.

"Can you pass me the juice please." I stated, "Natasha?" Grandfather looked at me, "I feel weird. There's nothing wrong with me, I just feel weird." I stated as I ate. "Well you are always weird, so I don't understand what's new." Cronus said, "She actually feels the weirdness this time." Nemean said and I just looked at them with a blank expression.

"Don't tease my daughter." Mother said, "She's probably just missing Percy." Nyx laughed and I looked at her, I felt weird when she said Percy's name. "Perseus Achilles Jackson." I muttered to myself as I ate.

After breakfast I went up to my room and just laid on my bed thinking about this weird feeling I was getting. "Nattie! Percy's here!" Mother called out and I went out of my room. I happily ran down the stairs but when I actually saw Percy my pace slowed down. I walked towards him, carefully eying him as if I had never seen him before. The closer I got to Percy, the harder my heart beat.

I stopped a few meters away from him, I couldn't take another step, I felt something bad was going to happen. Percy creased his eyebrows in question, "Nattie?" He looked at me, he was about to walk towards me when I raised my hand to stop him. "Nattie are you okay? Your eyes..." He trailed off and he teleported to hold my face in his hands. I felt my body heat up as I looked into his eyes. "You are so warm, are you feeling okay? Your eyes are a different colour, a purple-blue?" He asked and my eyes trailed down to his lips as I felt my body heat increase.

"Natasha." He spoke and I jumped away from him, "I-I have to go." I said turning and running away, "Nattie!" Percy called but I could not turn and face him. "I'll see you tonight I promise, I'm not feeling so good!" I said as I disappeared to my room, I dashed to the mirror gasping as I looked into my eyes. They had never been this colour before, purple-blue.

I teleported to the winter kingdom and ran inside while bowing my head in greeting to the guards. Jack came running to me and he hugged me, "Hermanita (Little sister)." He kissed my forehead, "Hermano (Brother)." I hugged him again, we then parted from each other and he creased his eyebrows. "What is it?" I asked, "You smell funny." He chuckled and then he placed his hand on my forehead, "Plus you have a high temperature." His eyebrows raised.

"Do you perhaps know what's wrong with me?" I asked, "Uhm, do you feel like something is wrong?" He smiled, "I've been feeling weird since this morning." I said in a low voice, "Weird, is that how you describe it." He laughed, "Do you know what's wrong with me?" I asked and he laughed, "Jack!" I shook his shoulders as I whined, "Princess Natasha." Lord Winter came, "Lord Winter." I bowed in greeting.

"I insist you please address me by my name only." I said, "As you wish, and I insist you address me as uncle." He said and I nodded. "How is everybody at your home?" He asked, "They are all great." I smiled then I noticed something different, uncle Winter didn't have his beard anymore. "Uncle... Your beard?" I asked, "Your brother." He stated and I looked at Jack.

"What did you do?" I whispered, "Shaving cream and hair remover is an awesome combination for someone who doesn't have time to shave." Jack smiled, "Did he get angry?" I whispered, "He made me massage his shoulders and we got to talk so I guess it was no biggy." Jack said. He teleported to his father's side and brought him in front of me. "Isn't my dad good looking, you couldn't see his face clearly under all that beard." He smiled with his arm over uncle Winter's shoulder.
