CHAPTER 50: Getting caught romanticizing

Natasha POV

After skipping a few days with Jack, we got up to date with our work using our classmate's books. We were now all being hit with the exam fever, as we walked around the school, everybody was holding a book in their hands.

Right now it was after school and we were all seated in the library studying. "I'm gonna go look for a life science book in the 9th aisle, I'll be back in a moment." I smiled getting up from my seat, and leaving Jack and Percy to continue studying. I ended up walking through so many aisles until I found myself at the last aisle cause the book was not where it was supposed to be. I found a similar book at the corner of the library but up was really high on top and there was no one around to ask for help.

I stood on the tip of my toes trying to reach for the book that was so high up. I could feel my skirt slightly rising the higher I went, "This is why girls should be allowed to wear heels at school, so what if we brake a leg... It's our legs!" I scowled trying to reach for the book. "Beautiful things should not be broken." I felt Percy warm breath at the back of neck as he reach for the book and easily took it.

I turn around to face him as he still kept his hand over my shoulder, "Checking me out, huh?" I smirked and Percy looked up as if he was in thought then his eyes met mine, they had a glint of mischief. "No... Just abnormally staring." He smirked and I could see where this was going. "We gonna get into trouble." I interjected, "Trouble is our middle name." Percy neared me making me back away, that was when I realised my back against the aisle.

"We gonna get caught..." I said sheepishly knowing that, that was not going to have any effect on him. "But I'm already caught... In your love... Your eyes... Your heart... Want me to continue?" His raspy voice asked smugly. "Orr I could just show you what else you've caught." I felt so flattered I closed my eyes and bit my lips in a straight line. "Bad boy..." I finally spoke, "Only for you..." He breathed and I could tell I was now blushing because of the tingling feeling I was feeling on my cheeks.

"What sweet things your mouth brings out." I chuckled slightly, "Really? Then they surely deserve to be rewarded... Only by lips." He played with his eyebrows as his face drew closer to mine, my brain was telling me to push him away cause we were gonna get caught but my heart made my hands numb. My brain was telling me to look away but the warmth of his breath kept my lips in place.

Then my brain had a stupid thought, 'follow your heart' my brain thought therefore making my heart win. I held onto his school blazer's color not giving a damn about what if we got caught. "We'll bare the punishment together." We chuckled together and we pulled each other closer pressing our lips against each other. Percy's hands dropped down to clutch around my waist.

My lips explored every bit of his. His soft caress on my cheek bone made me mentally smile since my lips were occupied. My body felt so numbed by his kiss but at the same time it felt strong enough to kiss him back. I ran my hands through his soft jet black hair as my chest expanded and extracted against his with every breath that I took.

"Perseus and Natasha, please come to my office right now." The principal's voice echoed through the intercom and Percy and I continued kissing ignoring the announcement. "Now please." The principal's voice said and our lips reluctantly parted. "To be continued..." Percy smirked. We walked to where Jack was seated looking at his book stifling a laugh.

"What's so funny?" I smiled at Jack, "Nothing, just remembered a meme I saw this morning. I'll show you when you come back from the principal's office." He said with a huge grin on his face, "Sure, can we leave our stuff behind?" I asked him and he nodded happily. We walked to the office and knocked on the door, "Come in." Answered the principal's formal voice.
