CHAPTER 37: Confessions

Percy POV

The next day I woke up pretty late and I expected to find everybody awake, I went to the dining table and everybody was awake except three people were missing; Triton, Jack and Nattie. "Morning." I said rubbing my eyes, "Where are they?" I asked, "Triton and Jack have a hangover, they are in their rooms passed out, last night they went to a club and Nattie is still sleeping, poor girl was jerking awake most of the night." Mother answered. "When Jack and Triton are together, they always go do something stupid." I said as I took a seat next to Tyson.

"I heard that." Triton growled holding his head, "Me too." Jack groaned as he was pulling his hair in different directions, "But he is right, I have never had such a hangover in my life. It's worse than getting hit at the back of the head by Tartarus." Jack cried, "Loren, go get them the hangover remedy." Mother told the palace matron. "The alcohol underwater is stronger than the one on land." Mom laughed at them both.

"And it can't be that bad, getting hit by Tartarus will make you fade." Dad said and Jack shook his head, "No it doesn't, it's just annoying." Jack groaned, "How many times have you been hit by him?" Triton asked, "A lot, I have been hit by all the primordials you can think of because of my mischief, and I got away with most of the things I do because of my face and brains." Jack mumbled on.

"What do you mean?" Tyson asked, "If I was in trouble with the male primordials I would run to the females so they can feel sorry and save me. If I was in trouble with the females, I would run to Hamera, or I would try and get help from the males. Hamera is the only primordial that I will never exert my mischief on cause she and I got each other's back." He said looking at the ceiling in pain. Loren brought glasses filled with dark green thick liquid and handed it to both of them.

Jack looked at it and so did Triton, "Why does it look so thick today?" Triton whined, "It's always like that dear." Mom stated, "Are you sure this will do the trick, cause gulping this for nothing is like drinking again?" Jack questioned and mother nodded laughing to herself. Just then someone teleported to dad's side, "Morning Poseidon and family." Aether greeted, "There is a meeting at Olympus at one." He informed and Dad nodded, "Since when are you the messenger?" Dad asked, "Hermes is booked so I offered." Aether said.

"Who are you in trouble with?" Jack smirked, and Aether asked if he could have a seat and dad nodded, "I am in trouble with the three most dangerous woman in the universe for some words I told them about woman." Aether said with clear horror on his face, "Wow, the three of them! Now that's a new record!" Jack exclaimed, "You need to help me man, else I am going to be out for a few days." Aether begged, "Aether, you remember the last time you punched me, I can still feel that punch." Jack smiled.

"But that was four years ago." Aether stated, "But I can still feel it." Jack said dramatically, "Sorry, now please help me." Aether begged, "Nuh, I needed your apology five seconds ago, now I don't need it anymore." Jack said bored, "I'll pay you." Aether said and then Jack took interest, "Go on." He encouraged, "5000 drachmas." Aether bargained, "Sweeten the deal." Jack smiled, "What do you want?" Aether glared, "One of Erebus's boomerangs." Jack grinned and we all gasped, he was sending Aether on a suicide mission.

"You are sending me on a suicide mission." Aether said with clenched teeth, "Oh, would you rather have Gaia, Nyx and Hamera on your case?" Jack asked and Aether shook his head, "Fine then, I will pay you 5000 drachmas if you tell me how to steal it without getting caught or suspected." Aether said and our eyes widened. "Deal." Jack smiled, "Now, three angry primordials are small fry. I'll give you a dialogue on words to say so they may forgive you about what you said about woman. And then go find Morpheus to put Erebus to sleep and make him dream about breaking one of his boomerangs and then throwing it away." Jack solved Aether's problems.
