CHAPTER 24: A father's appearance

Percy POV

"Percy! Tyson" We heard Grover's breathless voice. We dashed to the door to see what's wrong.

"What's wrong?" Nattie asked in her bass, "Woah." Grover said forgetting what he had come here for, "What's wrong?" I asked again, "Leo was tricked by the Stolls to eat muffins." Grover said with much panicking in his voice, "And how is that a trick exactly?" Jack asked lost.

"They contained skittles." Grover said with wide eyes, "Aww, just great." Tyson whined as we all exited the cabin, "What's wrong?" Nattie asked, "Hephaestus children are not supposed to eat skittles- it makes them lose it for a while. They literally go mad, and they set their bodies on fire." I explained as Grover guided us to where Leo was. He was right in the middle of camp where everybody could see him, the Stolls stood there giggling to themselves obviously.

When we reached them, Tyson smacked both of them at the back of their heads, but as mad as they are- they continued to laugh.

"Everyday I am shuffling- pa, pa, pa, pa, pa, paa, pa, pa, pa, pa. One, two, three, four.
The roof, the roof

This boy is on fire!
This boy is on fire!"

Leo sang, "Enough Leo!" I scolded, "Aww, you no fun." Leo whined then he set his whole body on fire, "But that ain't gonna stop me!" Leo screamed then began running away, Jack ran after him and managed to catch him. Jack pressed Leo's shoulder and he passed out. Tyson quickly controlled the water and splashed him with it then used his powers to dry his whole body.

Jack teleported with Leo somewhere then came back, "Where's Leo?" Nattie asked, "I put him in my room since I did not want to intrude in the Hephaestus cabin, so I dropped him on my bed." Jack said simply then all the attention turned to the twins, we all glared at them and they shifted a little.

"Can I eat those muffins?" Was all Nattie asked in her horse voice, "Woah!" Everybody exclaimed but Nattie ignored them, "Is it safe to eat?" She asked the Stolls, "Yeah, totally safe. They only contained skittles." Travis answered and Nattie took one.

"After all that water powers I used, I need a few of those." Tyson said as he took the whole tray- so much for 'a few of those'. After Nattie was done with her muffin she began laughing, "Nattie, what's so funny?" Jack asked cautiously, "Y'all look funny, your faces is all gummy and stretchy." Nattie said in her bass as she continued to laugh.

We all looked at the Stolls with pissed faces, "We swear on river Styx, there are only skittles in those muffins." The twins swore and thunder boomed, we looked at Tyson to see if he was reacting the same way and he looked pretty normal to us. We then faced Nattie again, "Eew, now y'all look nasty. Piper remove the bird nest from your head." She said.

"Johnny, Johnny cool. Johnny, Johnny cool." Nattie sang then her character changed, "Hi, I am señorita Tasha." Nattie said as she made a gun sign with her hand then blew the tip of her finger. She then set her eyes on me and placed her imaginary gun in her jean pocket. "Aren't you a mighty fine boy, those perfect sea-green eyes. And that jet black hair just turns me on- hot." Nattie said in a hot accent, and breathed the last word out as she locked her arms around my neck.

She slowly placed a kiss on my cheek, and I was too dumbstruck to move- I mean I have never heard her speak like that before, everybody around us watched too, including Jack, they all watched with mouths dropped. She took a hot breath, "And your body structure, damn! Hot, you sure you are not a god yet. I mean those perfect muscles- and I bet my life you have a pack already, mmmhhh." Nattie continued and all I could do was blink once and she winked at me.
