"Write about a time when you saw hope when it seemed like a hopeless situation."
___________________________________________
This phrase is supposed to convey hope, that the darkness and the confining walls of the tunnel will end, the light that shines is a way out, out of the darkness and closing walls. But then like hope, this phrase is misleading too.
Did I face any such situation and took heart that that light at the end of the tunnel represented an end to what ever bad times I was going through. Not exactly though sometimes the light turns out to be from an oncoming train, which if you are not agile enough to climb the wall and not tenacious enough to cling on, you would be run over.
Light at the end of the tunnel or the light of an oncoming train? Only time will tell.
