No, none of them are inspiring, in fact, they are quite frustrating and were the actual reason, why I am so behind in updating these posts.
Two days since the financial year end, rather a day and a half, and already people want the numbers. Where do we get them from? Thin air, speculations, extrapolation of budgets or simply make blind estimates? And impossible deadlines - April 15th? What am I, a magician? Or a conjurer? The month end entries do not get passed by the fifth, how would the year end provisioning be done in ten days?
But then the bosses do not listen, they want it so they want it. However, we are not so easy either, we nod our heads and do our work, at our pace. Better late and accurate, rather than early and wrong.
