Fake smile

We always end up in faking our smiles,
We pretend to be strong but we cry inside,
We pretend to be happy for the sake of others,
For them to see us happy,
For them to be happy,
We always do this because you don't want to look weak,
You don't want to look desperate,
We keep believing in "I'm a happy person so I must not cry,"
We always believe in these lie,
But the truth is you want to be happy for real,
You want to be care,
To be loved by someone else,
You want to feel important,
It is what you want truly feel,
But why being sad is such a big deal?
We can be sad because we care,
Because we loved, we trust,
We feel pain in our hearts,
And it feels like it keeps tearing apart,
It is not a sign of being weak,
It is a part of being human,
It is a part of our life,
But we keep smiling and saying "I'm happy" but it was a lie,
You lie to your self,
You lie to others,
We don't need to fake our smiles,
But we choose to faked it because we don't want to cry,
We want to look strong for our family and friends,
We want to look strong for the someone we love,
