Time check--- 7:00  pm.

We went to the mall and just decided to eat dinner at Peri-Peri.

I caught myself smiling when I saw him eat as if he didn't have any meals for the whole day.

"Teach. Don't be like that or I'll fall for you even more." He said grinning at me.

"Wow naman. Naka-ilang girlfriends ka na nga ulit? Ang galing mo sa mga pick up lines ah."

"Haha. C'mon, Cee. Let's not talk about the past okay?"

I ignored what he said. "So, ilan?" I continued, looking at him like how I look at my students if they did something wrong.

He sighed looking anxious. "Seryoso ka talaga diyan?" He also nervously laughed.

I gave him a sly smile.

" Haha...hay, naku. I never knew you'd do this. Okay.  Girlfriends..? Hmm...ilan ba? You know what I am like before, right? Marami akong naging vices so...medyo mapaglaro rin ako pagdating sa mga babae. So---"

"So?"

"Like about... 6?"

"Hindi ka sure?"

"Okay, fine. There were 6 of them. Masaya ka na?"

"Are you still close?"

"Close?" He straightened his back. "Are we really doing this?"

"Oh? Bakit, hindi pwede? Aren't we on the stage of knowing about each other? Who knows? Baka pagkatapos ng araw na ito hindi na naman tayo magkita o magparamdaman man lang ng isang buwan o who knows? Baka umabot pa ng 1 year?"

He was surprised. Me too. I tried my best to calm down pero hindi ko pala kaya.

I looked down on my plate full of green vegetables and continued to eat them while trying to get away from embarrassment.  Waaaaah! Bakit ko ba nasabi  yun?!

I started preparing for the worst when I heard him laugh. He rested his arms on the table and gave me a confident smile while I was in doubt.

"Now I get it. You're mad at me." He said that while grinning at me. "Galit ka dahil hindi kita kinakamusta for a month. Galit ka dahil I was busy with my work. Galit ka dahil we said we're dating pero it didn't go the way you wanted it to be. You're mad because you care about our relationship. Right?"

This guy really knows what I'm thinking right now.
