Chapter 27 - The Reunion.

The next day, I found myself walking down a corridor after breakfast, thinking about everything in general. I haven't seen Sombra today, so I decided to stroll down the corridors looking for him.

I was walking past the door that lead to the spare room which contained the fireplace, and I realised that the door was ajar. I gently pushed it open, and realised that Sombra was in there reading a scroll. As soon as he realised I was there, he made the scroll vanish.

"Hey there." He smiled. I frowned.

"Hey. We had mail from the princesses?" I wondered.

"Uh no. I was just reading through old scrolls making sure we did not miss anything." He explained.

"Umm Okay..." I raised my eyebrow in confusion, but decided not to press on it.

"Anyway. I will be busy, most likely for the whole day today, because I feel like my guards need training. You know, especially because of how they acted yesterday." Sombra rolled his eyes.

"Yes that's understandable." I chuckled. Sombra smiled and then proceeded to hug me. He held me tight, and also wrapped his wings around, as though I was a baby.

We kissed a couple of times, but it was nothing big. He then set off to the barracks, and I sighed, realising that I had nothing to do.

Twilight Sparkle POV.

Rarity and I were just returning with Pinkie from my library, and we were heading to Sugarcube Corner.

"I think they ought to have cucumber sadwiches. They're simply splendid." Rarity exclaimed.

"They are Rarity." I agreed. "But as the books have said, cheese is better for sports because its more nutritious." I corrected, as we trotted past the Ponyville Spa.

"In my opinion, if anypony needs energy they should eat my cupcakes! They're full of energy haha!" Pinkie laughed, so me and Rarity joined her.

Suddenly my horn glowed with magic, and I knew what this meant. In a split second, a scroll appeared in front of me, and I didnt even have to look at the red seal to know it was from Princess Celestia.

I levitated the scroll, and unsealed it as Pinkie and Rarity watched curiously.

Dear Twilight,

There has been something I have been thinking about lately, and I would like to talk to you, and your friends about it. I await your arrival at the Canterlot Castle.

Princess Celestia.

I looked at Rarity and pinkie with a confused expression, and clearly they were also confused.

"Seems like Dash and Apple Jack won't be able to host their sports competition today." Rarity pointed out.

I agreed with her, and we then split up. Rarity and Pinkie went to alert Dash and AJ, and I headed to Fluttershys hut. The hut was cute, and almost always busy with animals. Fluttershy opened the door after I knocked, and I told her about the scroll.

She told her animals that there was no picnic today, and we then left to the train station, where the rest of our group were waiting. The train took forty minutes, and we soon found ourselves boarding off the train in Canterlot.

It didn't take long for all of us arrive at the castle, and I realised that princess celestia was waiting for us in a small room, with a round table and a few bookshelfs. It was clearly a meeting room.

Celestia made herself comfortable at a seat, and we all did the same.

"What is it Princess?" Rarity questioned.
